Help - Exhaust Gas Temperature Sender - Bank 1 Sensor 3 P242D-00 Fault Code

Hi Guys - looking for some help.
Without going into all the details, I had an air leak due to seal on the intercooler failing. This cause the car to intermittently go into limp mode (Red Restricted Power warning).

Anyway, seal replace and all seemed well, but on the test run after about 10 mins got an amber warning for Restricted Power (but car felt fine!).
On further investigation fault code P242D-00 'Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor - Bank1 Sensor 3' was showing so it looks like I need to replace this sensor.

Called with the dealer and they only list the senors as blue, green, brown..... & can't identify which corresponds to 'Bank 1, Sensor 3'.
I have searched on line - a few others seem to have had this issue / asked this question, but I can't find a definitive answer!

Can anybody shed any light on this - i.e. does anybody know what colour 'Bank 1 Sensor 3' is?

Thanks
XFNI

Thanks Pekem
Unfortunately the issue is not directly connected to the intercooler, although the seal leak is probably the root cause.
When in limp mode the DPF regen is disabled and so I also had a DPF Full message. When taking the car to the indi, I drove like a granny and believe it was in the middle of a regen when the 'restricted power' again kicked in. Result was a cloud of smoke out the back and both exhausts heavily covered in light grey deposits - i.e. I think the DPF cleared itself quite spectacularly! Anyway, I believe this probably either fried or heavily contaminated the offending sensor that is now going into fault.

From what I can find on the internet so far, it seems quite likely that 'Sensor 3' is the DFF outlet sensor. However, my local Jag franchise parts department can't tell me which one I should buy - they can only help if I tell them its a green one, one a blue one or.......! On-line parts suppliers also list these sensors with the same descriptions as the dealer. I have come across a few posts of other owners on other forums asking the same question - i.e. can someone identify what sensor corresponds to fault code P242D - 'Bank 1, Sensor 3, but so far no answers!

Just to follow-up on this....
It's been nearly two weeks now without an error message, so hopefully the 'fault' has cleared itself - fingers crossed!
You can read above what happened, so I now strongly suspect the exhaust temperature sensor going into fault was just heavily contaminated and is now cleaned up!

The warning would pop-up regularly once I had reached the 'ideal' DPF regen conditions - i.e. car warmed up as cruising between 60 and 70. So again I suspect (but can't be sure) it was the regen cycle tripping the fault - i.e. the temperature being transmitted from the offending sensor was not within tolerance expected during a DPF regen.

To help things along I also put an intensive fuel conditioner / EGR / DPF cleaner through the system. Although I use premium diesel every second or third fill (hoping the additional detergents etc. will keep everything clean) I do believe this cleaner has made a difference and the car is running smoother and pulling better than before.
After some research, the product I used was Archoil AR6400-D MAX (available in Amazon for around ÂŁ25). This is an intensive cleaner and not one you use with every tankful.
