Engine Bay Tidy Up

As with all my previous cars I like to keep them very tidy and add some personal modifications.

I've had the XF for just over a month now and already I have started.
Looking under the bonnet the six studs securing the front valance were starting to corrode, so I have replaced them with stainless screws with torx heads.
I also replaced another two (out of sight) securing the headlamps.

Here's a photo of the work done.

I had a Similar thought. what thread size are the screws/bolts?

To be honest I'm not sure I think they're only around 5 or 6mm.
I got the studs from a assortment box my son keeps for his bikes, I did the same on my last car, a Rover 75.

It certainly tidies up things a bit instead of looking a rusty studs.
