Yes the car was registered on the 7th December 2012 so about 8months to go . I took a spin the other day and there was an intermittent rattling noise which seemed to be coming from the front passenger side of the car the strange thing was it didn't seem to have any rhyme or reason the rattle didn't correspond with any lumps and bumps in the road I thought it might be some thing in the door when I checked there was a book an umbrella and a first aid kit none of which rattled if I am not to late tomorrow night I am going to empty all of the bits and bobs from the centre arm rest and the door pockets glove box etc . The noise just appeared from nowhere any ideas before I book it into H A FOX'S many thanks TM

We have had in the past several reports of a rattle emanating from a door, it happened to me, and the problem was a cable in the door which is shrouded in foam had worked loose. Fixed under warranty and in short time.

I appreciate this problem is now resolved, however here's one to bear in mind for the future.

I had rattle from front doors on different occasions and it turned out to be retaining clips on relay inside front door which were found to be broken.
Once they had been replaced, the problem was solved.

Don't know what a Relay is but it is probably the same well documented issue I highlighted earlier.
