Just wondering if anyone has purchased the growler face wheel nuts. Are the silver ones worth getting. Not sure if they would look good with the smoked volan wheels?

Yes, I have them, they have been on the Volans on my old XF and on the Nevis ones on my new one. They look ok but to be perfectly honest they don't really notice until you're cleaning the wheels. Not sure they are worth the ÂŁ150 :)

I was in the dealers parts department yesterday ordering a touch up stick and these were on the display tray but in black. They did look very nice but they were marked up at ÂŁ199 but they said they were open to offers, expecting ÂŁ150. I'll pass even though they looked cool.

They look very nice in the box in the dealers display cabinet! As they are very lightly engraved they don't really notice from a couple of feet away-unless it's just my eyesight :)
I bought them after seeing them on the Jaguar website and as the nuts on my car did look a bit battered-no doubt done by impact wrenches I was looking to change the nuts and these would have cost about ÂŁ80 from what I remember, I paid ÂŁ135 for the set and I have to say they are far better quality, the only downside is I have to remember to tell dealers not to use an impact wrench on them!

These look like an OCD nightmare.

I mean imagine trying to get them all aligned in exactly the same plane so they face the same way! On every wheel!

And the trying to park so the wheels are all in the right alignment so the growlers are horizontal!

This is a very subtle touch. Years ago one might sit at the lights and look over at the rather classy car in the right hand lane and be impressed by highlighted calipers and logos. This is now a bit passe' (accent) due to the number of corsa etc. owners who have visited Halfrauds for caliper paint. Engraved wheelnuts, well that is really cunning!

Hmmm....ÂŁ150????

I think I could do just as well with a stencil and my bead blaster, cost? Thirty bob probably....sorry....I'm sure they look fab in the flesh.
