They said they'd swap the pads at Sytner if there is any issues with the wear at all. That makes sense regarding the 19 inch alloy's one of two of them did need a refurb but they said they'd take care of. Gosh this is a hard decision to make.
I suspect that if you go with the lower spec one you will always regret it. Although my own instinct has always been for lower mileage cars I understand these 3 litre diesel engines to be pretty much bullet proof. Cam belt change appears to be at something like 110k miles so at your annual mileage even on the 70k mile car it is about 4 years motoring away.

Good luck whichever you choose. These are great cars in any spec.

I agree with Bik. Just relax and enjoy the car. These are incredible cars and you will not stop grinning once you get behind the wheel. Welcome to the forum and I look forward to you telling us in a few weeks time that you agree with us and love your Jag!!

Had to look up TOWMBO. Ha The One Who Must Be Obeyed :

In my case TOWMBO (or SWMBO as I like to say) agrees with me that the magic of a Jaguar is not so much raw power (although raw power is good) but the ability to waft smoothly and gracefully along knowing the power is there on tap if you need it :)
