Details of our sport suspension. This is what we do best and is the real deal for the XF.

Please get in touch by private message, e-mail at [email protected] or phone us on 0800 7565347 if interested. Please post questions on this thread if you have any.

Jaguar XF Sports Suspension

Our sports suspension is available as springs only to lower the XF and improve handling or as a complete package that combines the springs with our tune of dampers to improve the ride and ultimate body control over the standard suspension.

Unlike the standard suspension our set-up has been specifically engineered to work with the 20" wheel and tyre option, although it does work equally well with other tyre sizes. Compared to the standard car our suspension package improves the ride over bumps and ridges, improves the handling with less roll and understeer, improves ultimate body control over crests and dips and improves the XF's looks with subtle lowering all round.

Our development has taken us to the best driving roads in Wales as well as the Nurburgring and Autobahns in Germany to ensure the very best in performance.

Forum member mickyabel recently had this suspension package and our 20" wheels fitted to his car and the ride was better than the standard suspension on 18" wheels as well as looking fantastic and cornering on rails.

Nominal lowering on this suspension is 15 mm all round, our development has shown the XF suspension does not lend itself to aggressive lowering. The dampers use original Jaguar Bilstein dampers with the internals re-tuned to our settings. OE specification wheel travels and clearances are also maintained.

We have also now proven this suspension for use on the new 10MY 3.0D and 5.0 V8 XFs.

Specifications
Fitment: Jaguar XF 3.0 V6, 2.7 and 3.0 V6D, 4.2 and 5.0 V8, (SV8 option available)
Lowering: 15mm
Spring Type: Front plain, rear progressive
Parts Warranty: 5 years springs, 2 years dampers

We recommend this suspension is professionally installed by a Jaguar dealer or independent specialist and a geometry alignment is performed to standard factory settings.

The pricing structure is a 10% discount and free delivery for springs only and a 25% discount for springs and dampers together.

Springs:
After 10% discount: £252 + VAT = £296.10

Springs and dampers:
After 15% discount: £619.65 + VAT = £728.09

To qualify for the discount you must have made at least one post on the forum.

now jaguar are offering the XFR dynamic suspension to the xfs how does your suspension compare.
To my mind less electronic could be better!

Hi,
Is this the "Fix" that Raregrin had to improve the ride? and do you have a "fitted" price?

Not sure that I will want to change it, won`t have it for a couple of weeks :)

Well the XFR dynamic suspension is only on the XFR, the 3.0D dynamics pack uses the same technology but is quite different in character.

Our sport suspension set-up is very similar to the 3.0D dynamics pack in character, spring rates are very similar and there is extra damping but obviously it doesn't have the electronic control. Also our lowers the car 18mm which the dynamics pack does not.

We have a comfort suspension set-up as developed for raregrin. This doesn't lower the car and obviously improves the ride a lot.

Total fitted price £1515.75

Sport Suspension Comfort

I am interested in the Sports Suspension and am wondering if it will affect the comfort? I want to lower the car as my 3.0DS looks a bit high but don't want to spoil the ride.

This threads 3 years old mate, you are probably best getting in touch with Spires as they may have updated their range.
