Well the time came yesterday when i had to hand my XF back to the company whose employment i have just left & i'm missing it already.

It was by far the best car i have had the pleasure of "owning" easily surpassing the E60 5 series i had before it & although i have had the privilage of driving company owned vehicles over the past 20 years it is the only one that i would buy with my own money.

I will be moving to Jeddah for 3 years late August & was going to get a V8 XF when i get out there (fuel is 6.5p/litre) but having seen the standard of driving there i think the biggest 4x4 i can find will be a better choice!

One thing i can promise is that when i return to the UK one of the first things i will be doing is buying an XF.

Haven't we got a member or two out in that part of the world :?:
Maybe you will be close enough for someone to give you an outing to demonstrate how they do it
Do keep in touch, even if you are in a Hummer :!:

Will definitly keep in touch & will also probably have a test drive of the XF to see how i can get on with "no give way, no lane discipline" way of driving.

If not it will be a Range Rover or Discovery
