Hi,
Washing my car for the first time, I noticed a huge gap between the bodywork and the headlamp unit for both headlights. It is where the unit is closest to the grill.
I don't know if this is normal?
I can't imagine it would do the aerodynamics much good.
The rest of the headlamp sits tight to the bodywork as I'd expect. Do other car's look like this?

Well it seems that after your picture has been viewed 145 times an opinion is still needed. :)
I did see something like that on my previous XF and it turned out to be a broken retaining clip fixing the lamp to the bulkhead mounting
My light was capable of being swiveled forward and out. It was necessary for a new clip to be fabricated by the local body repair shop.
I doubt that is the case with yours, but just a thought :)
I have added a picture of my car and to my eye it seems that your light protrudes to a greater extent.

Have just checked mine and it is flush. Sounds to me like that has a broken clip or was not installed correctly in the first place. Take it in and get it looked at.
