What possible objection could you have?
range, practicality ;)

if it could get me and my family to my parents house in Ireland on a single charge, driven spiritedly, and could offer me comparable performance to what i've got currently, and fit all the baby paraphernalia for similar outlay then yes, not a problem, i'd have one.

electric gubbins has a fair way to go before it becomes genuinely practical i think.

the concept is flawed IMO. too far, too soon ;)

there's a fair wedge of opinion suggesting that electrics/hybrids aren't necessarily the bright new dawn that they're proclaimed as :)

If they develop an XF with electric motors powered by fuel cells I might be interested.

No I wouldnt buy one. Electric cars are not the solution to environmental problems. All they do is shift the pollution from the roadside to the power station.
