Shyster outfit - caught out - Plod says 'case closed' - quelle surprise:

'a number of workers contacted BirminghamLive to claim some staff told to self-isolate by the NHS's Test and Trace Service were still being called into work.'

- because JLR would be under moral, if not legal onus, to pay them.

Plod, the same Force/farce - West Midlands - that did 'The Heist' with them, was never going to find evidence of this breach/crime, unlike the mountains of 'evidence' they found for the 'crime', non-incident, never-happened, PR stunt, 2017 'Heist'.

JLR came up with this retrospective 'test every day to avoid self-isolating' trial thing, when caught out by workers reporting them for forcing/intimidating workers to work, against supposedly .Gov guidelines/the law.

Without the UK - the protection by the BBC(Watchdog's blind spot), 'campaigning' rags(against the Krauts) like The Mail and Express, Media, DfT(VCA, VOSA), .Gov, 'the Law', etc - JLR would have been sued out of existence and its execs in orange jumpsuits years ago. Yet another can of worms buried by the above, known to all, for years, beginning to be opened by ambulance-chasing lawyers across the Pond:

'January 10, 2021 — A Jaguar Land Rover InControl lawsuit alleges the infotainment systems fail to start, go black, freeze and fail in these Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles.
  • 2018-2020 Land Rover Range Rover
  • 2018-2020 Land Rover Range Rover Sport
  • 2018-2020 Land Rover Range Rover Velar
  • 2018-2021 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque
  • 2018-2020 Land Rover Discovery
  • 2018-2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport
  • 2018-2020 Jaguar E-Pace
  • 2018-2020 Jaguar F-Pace
  • 2018-2020 Jaguar I-Pace
  • 2018-2020 Jaguar F-Type
  • 2018-2020 Jaguar XE
  • 2018-2020 Jaguar XF
  • 2018-2020 Jaguar XJ

The class action lawsuit includes both InControl Touch Pro and InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment systems that control multiple important features, including the radio, smartphone integration, heating and air conditioning, rearview camera display and navigation.

The InControl lawsuit says the infotainment systems are marketed as the most advanced with the most control and most features.

Michigan plaintiff Blake George purchased a 2019 Land Rover Range Rover equipped with an InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment system which has allegedly suffered regular problems since his purchase.

The plaintiff says the InControl system has went through numerous updates, then it was serviced in November 2020. But the Land Rover InControl lawsuit alleges the system experiences problems just about every time the vehicle is started.

The plaintiff says Jaguar Land Rover didn't tell him about the infotainment system problems and doesn't inform other consumers of the alleged defects.'

According to the InControl class action, normal use causes the user interface to fail and the system is slow to respond and suffers crash loops.

The Land Rover lawsuit also alleges InControl defects cause safety dangers due to distractions caused by unexpected audio and video errors. In addition, consumers are at risk when trying to use the backup cameras, hands-free calling or the heating systems to remove ice or fog.'

How many years now - 4?(in market), ~6/7 'in-development' - and still:

'Jaguar Land Rover allegedly hasn't discovered how to repair the InControl infotainment systems and allegedly tells owners to wait for software updates. Dealerships also allegedly replace defective InControl parts with equally defective parts which forces drivers to enter an expensive cycle of repairs and replacements.'

- i.e. a (criminal) racket. JLR and its dealers, and its UK protectors - vermin (criminal) shysters.

Told ya! - Brexit 'Done' - you're having a laugh:

As I said, Brexit isn't over, it's just beginning - actual work, not the p!ssed up, off his head on coke loon in No.10 putting his thumbs up on Zoom.

Why was Fatboy and the other Brexit 'Diehards', Cash, Bridgen, Francois, the ERG, and Farage, and the Media of course, in such a rush to move on? Because they knew in a sane, lew-abiding country of vaguely intelligent people, they would be in jail now, for treason, looking at life or the rope.

The EU got evreything that it wanted - no tariffs or quotas on German cars, French wine, and Spanish salads, plus as you were on fish, and N.Ireland and Gibraltar effectively now part of the EU.

They don't care if there's chaos coming the other way - Scottish langoustine rotting in stuck lorries - they'll just offer the Scottish skippers a buy out of their rapidly becoming wortlhless permits.

The car parts, engine and cars going from UK to EU, are mainly EU-owned, or EU-controlled anyway, and ripe for moving to the EU, using the excuse of chaos.

As I said, BMW will point to the above story and similar, and say 'we have no choice but to move MINI production to the continent - closely followed by Nissan, Toyota... .

Spaffer couldn't give a flying one. His world is not that of work, car factories, trawlers and buying salads from Aldi.

As long as The City goes on unhindered - it's all electronic - why would he care.

Fatboy has stuffed up the real UK - non-City/Crown bollox - worse than the Luftwaffe in 1940, or the doodlebugs and V2s in 1944, and worse even than his second hero, Thatcher, in 1979-81, when she laid waste to UK manufacturing.

That's why they, the 'diehards', and the whole media said as one - 'FFS, plebs, we're moving on, it's done, over' - they all went to the same schools, send their kids to the same schools, all know, marry each other, have zero in common with Mr Pleb they 'did Brexit for' - screwed over completely.

They did no work. The Europeans, once they threw out the drunkard Juncker, were limpet like on keeping to what they wanted and needed - Britons buying masses of their wares and food, plus not giving an inch on fish.

No wonder the Media rams the Scamdemic down the pleb's throats 24/7 since 1.1.2021 - they are petrified the ordinary Jore might just realise the 'elites' have destroyed what was left of their livelihoods, standard of living, and prospects for their children, in now Convict-Chaos Island.

Spaffer's little fat legs will eventually do the Tyburn Jig, not via the courts - Bliar and Straw abolished capital punsihment for treason - but by the People's Court.

No sane car maker will stay in UK with the only increasing chaos ahead this year and the indefinite future.

It's almost as if there was no real demand for the I-Pace in 2020 - Jan 2021 to-date:
  • e-tron 220
  • I-Pace 16
  • Model 3 15

- presumably Norway counts to EU fleet average through trading area.

But JLR and Tesla had to show that they were both not dead.

Both's sole purpose is to ramp their share prices higher, to IPO for JLR sometime this year, and land Tesla with some idiot/blackmailed target, before both have to blow up, even with their states and medias providing full cover.

Real demand for the I-Pace, outside of the UK and its taxpayer-paid NHS, Whitehall, Charlie Boy and so on cars, is around couple of hundred a month, at the start of 2021 i.e. dead, even more dead than it was early last year say.

The Model 3 has been laid waste to by the VW ID.3 in Europe, with the ID.4 about to do the same to the Model 3/Y globally.

The race is now fully on to get both these Fraud projects away - JLR IPO'd, and Tesla 'partnering' with someone like VW - a shotgun marriage - before its $trillion 'valuation' is discovered to be 'worth' ~minus $100bn.

The Chinese, with the NIO thing, have removed all coy disguises, and revealed they are indeed 'light-years', 'ten at least' - Mr Nyland - of the Fraud-Joke outfit Tesla, with twice the energy storage density, battery swapping, and Level 4 or higher autonomous drving.

Tesla's handlers - not the loon Musk obviously - know this - so have a tiny, shrinking by the minute window to get Tesla away, before Joe Pleb realises Tesla is actually a Legacy maker to the real innovators, in China and Europe, and possibly Lucid in the States.

Why do you think the German car bosses, Germany Inc., is so fixated with China? They know what the likes of NIO has, and it terrifies them, and also explains why Germany, not the EU, was so insistent, bullying of France, in the recent, nearly unreported trade deal with China.

China is flexing its muscles - technology, military, and 'Follow us or else'.

The gloves are off, and the showcase wares on full display - NIO's battery etc.

Why do you think Musk is nowhere to be seen? Same with the other gimp Bollore.

They both know their 'Job No.1' now is to STFU, stay out of sight, and let the real handlers, behind the scenes, try to get rid of these turkeys, before events in China, Germany - the 400 mile range EQS etc - blow the cover on these two epic Fraud projects, which have totally run their course, and have to be got rid off/dumped with some fool else, before they blow up, and take all their real owners - NOT 'richest man Musk' - and benefactors with them - like Enron mixed with The South Sea Bubble on steroids.

StoptheSteal? Protests on Capitol Hill, in front of Ford HQ Dearborn? Jonny Lieberman going on hunger strike? - it would be a long strike.

'Lastly, the Ford Mustang Mach-E was named North American Utility Vehicle of the Year. This is somewhat of an upset as the Land Rover Defender seemed like the favorite as it has already racked up numerous awards including Motor Trend’s SUV of the Year and Top Gear’s Car of the Year.'

- the fix was in, as per usual, for a JLR product, any and all JLR products - hence the shock by the JLR-Media axis - but these gimps are bright enough to know which side their bread is buttered - JLR's shekels(UK taxpayer money) for their 'journalism' - but not bright enough to see that an incoming Pedo Joe/Hoe needs to hit the ground running with the Green(Red) New Deal, and so Detroit//US3/US Inc. trumped - pardon the pun - these thick media lowlifes with the obvious and only choice - an EV.

If Rivian had their truck out in time, it would have won too.

The astonishment of JLR-Media, that the Duffender didn't win - automatic in their world and tiny minds - just shows how lazy, complacent and stupid they are - not to have seen the bleeding obvious coming.

A 'Giga' battery factory for what/whom?:

Just 1 giga kilowatt-hours/year is a multiple more than enough for the I-Pace - assume 90 kWh battery size, real demand <5,000/yr - assuming it was returned from Austria.

What are these cretins, Byrne, Palmer, the Unions and Street, on about?

Palmer got's some f'ing cheek - appearing so soon after the fraud and long jailtime in any other country of the AML flotation.

Byrne wouldn't know what a 'giga' is, nor Street.

What this is really about is the vermin, themselves fighting for their position at the taxpayer trough - WM Mayor - lobbing another ~£1bn of taxpayers' money at the only company of any note on their patch, JLR - kickbacks.

Nowt to do with 'giga', buzzword nonsense.

The I-Pace is in Austria, supplied by LG Chem Poland, until further notice. The eXJ is, was always vapourware, and the promised electric Range Rover, electric J-Pace or whatever, not due, as always with JLR-Media, until 2-3 years away - i.e. never, or at least post hoped-for IPO.

So what's it for? See above.

The only other maker on the patch is Aston Martin. Its EV needs will come in a crate from Stuttgart.

Who are these clowns kidding? Palmer would do better to lose some, say a giga's worth, of weight - slim down till he's obese.

They know the clown Spaffer's strings are now fully pulled by the Eco loon Carrie, and Zac Goldsmith's cabal - so just put 'EV' and 'Giga' on every application for taxpayer loot, and job done - fatboy will roil over - thick as mince.

That didn't take long - 7 working days:

Brexit forces German logistics group to suspend UK deliveries

- plus, Scottish langoustine rotting in the back of DFDS lorries:

.

The wee langoustine problem will se solved - as intended - by the French 'coming to the rescue' - buy-out the poor, gone-bust Scottish trawler skippers.

As I said, the likes of BMW will be clinking glasses in the Four-Cylinder HQ in Munich, finally getting a perfect excuse to shut down its UK ops - Oxford, Swindon, and the group engine plant, Hams Hall.

Everything is going like clockwork for the Europeans.

The French get the prized Scottish fish, worth £billions, and the Germans/Bavarians the monkey of MINI/Hams Hall finally off their backs, after 20 years of purgatory.

The Japs will be hard on their heels, out the door, behind BMW - whatever they say publicly about 'Sunderland is safe', etc.

Any real carmaker, operating in UK now, would be doing the same. Which is why the non-cries of pain from JLR over the Brexit trading chaos/meltdown, and none either over the worldwide chip shortage, just confirms that:
  • JLR is not a real carmaker
  • it has massive stocks of unsold cars, parts, intermediate assemblies, and its suppliers likewise - due to collapsed delivery schedules over the last several years
  • its real, unpublished production schedules are tiny, of the order of 150k units production this year in UK, so not affected by shortages like the ~2.5 million/year-producing Mercedes and BMW are.

'The dog that didn't bark' - JLR, and its suspicious serenity, total radio silence over this current chaos in the real world of high-volume, serious vehicle production.

The mask comes off the cuddly, save-the-planet, wouldn't hurt a fly 'Greens':

'Ars Technica‘s “Automotive Editor” Jonathan Gitlin wrote in a tweet about Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.), calling for the Republican congressman to be “skinned alive” for daring to challenge Joe Biden’s “win” on Nov. 3.'

- the 'water melon' Greens show their true colour - blood-dripping Red.

The whole CAGW thing never took off/went down like a lead balloon, in 'Fly-over' America, unlike swallowed hook, line and sinker Middle England, and so these vermin are now out for blood - literally - their pride hurt by 'The Deplorables', who blew raspberries in their face - with their 30+ years Big Lie of Globull Warming.

As in 1984, you will believe 2+2=5, or a trace, 0.04% of the atmosphere, harmless gas, plant food, has caused runaway, catastrophic, man-made warming - actually cooling, now entering an LIA/Ice Age.

These scum don't care about science, or the planet, but just power, as they're weak, vermin individuals, either sociopaths or psychos.

The want anyone who disgrees with them, won't accept their Big Lies, their evil, exterminated.

EVs/CAGW/The Thing are the 2+2=5 of this real, nightmare world. Sh!t got real, real fast.

And that's where our, UK taxpayers' money, is going, not on a New XJ, or new platforms, to fend off the likes of Stellantis' "Giorgio", under the new Disco5/Icon-destroying Jeep Grand Cherokee, or a genuine EV platform, not an F-Pace with its roof cut off, an extended rear overhang, and a ride height drop - 'eXJ':

'Jaguar'[JLR] is represented by Robert A. Angle, Laura Anne Kuykendall and Kathleen M. Knudsen of Troutman Sanders LLP and Bert C. Reiser, Matthew Moore, Diane E. Ghrist, Will Orlady, Adam M. Greenfield, Clement J. Naples, Gabrielle LaHatte and Christopher Henry of Latham & Watkins LLP.'

Let's see:
  • including prep, this thing has been going on 3 years already
  • 2 law firms involved - why 2?
  • 11 shysters involved in total

Shysters, probably all partners, don't come cheap. Let's say minimum $1,000/hour for actual 'work', per shyster, or to make it easier, $20k per week, booked, per shyster, given that they may do other cases in parallel.

150 weeks, at $20k/week, times 11 shysters, equals $33 million.

In JLR terms, that's a budget for a 'new' vehicle.

What this really is of course, is JLR's downpayment, investment, in either a major payoff from VAG, either by the bent US 'justice' system awarding them ridiculous damages - entirely likely - or, what they really hoped for, when they kicked this off in early 2018 - that VW would buy them - 'we are sick of you, and recognise the 'US' system hates Germans, and so we will end this living nightmare by buying you off, by buying you - or rather bunging Tata ~£10bn to F*** off'.

The Scamdemic has put a spanner in the works, of this latest shyster action by the shyster outfit JLR, with its shyster shysters - lawyers.

They get paid regardless. We are paying for all this. Shysters in Virginia buying yachts on the strength of food bank-using British people propping up pension-stealing Bombay billionaires.

Shysters and dope peddlers. What did Shakespeare say?

It's nice to read in the article, that both Jaguar and Bentley are "automaking giants". Apparently it doesn't take a lot to become a giant.

Journalists and lawyers know the square root of nothing. Their whole 'professions' are built on elevating knowing-nothing to an esoteric 'magic' asset - hence The Magic Circle of law firms in London:

All they really know is how to charge - without blushing - 'rhinos' - thick-skinned, and know how to charge - essentially confidence tricksters - speak with a plummy voice, sprinkle a few buzzwords, and latin, and job done.

These gimps don't understand that it's actually:
  • a game afoot
  • Tata trying to force VAG to take JLR

If JLR/Tata was so sure of its 'tech', its 'IP'(intellectual property), why didn't they take their action in 'the world's most respected, regarded, legal system', the UK's?

Wasn't that the obvious? JLR is a UK company, so is Bentley. Why go to the US to do it?

Because, they knew the backlash would be terrible - Bentley's British. Why would JLR attack a British icon.

If JLR had won, it could have meant thousands of workers in Bentley losing their jobs, possibly VAG puling Bentley out of UK, or shutting it down - imagine the PR hit to JLR, even with headbanger loyalists/patriots.

Tata knew that the US was/is rabidly anti-German - its officialdom - DoJ, EPA, State Dept. etc.

They knew a US court would find almost any way to find against VAG - brownie points for exposing more heinous wrongdoings of the Dieselgate cheaters and criminals.

They knew they had failed to offload JLR, to PSA, BMW, Geely, Apple, etc, etc.

So, this case is actually not about off-road terrain 'tech', but about using it, in the US, to lever VAG to buy JLR from Tata, or if not, at least screw $billions out of VAG, through the bent court, to keep JLR afloat for a while longer, until Tata can IPO it - using the fake, global, all time high stock markets.

Journalists' and shysters' tiny minds would be blown by this train of thought - logic, experience, intelligence - so they just stick to the knitting - writing B/S, patently wrong/iuseless 'facts', and sending regular invoices - all they know.

Shakespeare was right.

Not so stunning - when you can't endlessly self-register, 'sell' to the NHS, Whitehall, the heir to the throne... , give cars away to rental and lease companies, or shove a few thousand I-Paces into some overflow carpark in Norway, this is what happens with 'Tata Motors share price hitting record highs every day on surging sales of JLR':

Why would BMW have bought, partnered with JLR, when JLR's only, hitherto, selling in any recognisable volume car - the RRSport/Disco5/'Icon' - same car of course, serving the same market/segment - is genuinely outsold globally by its X5 up to 10:1?

The clowns in the media who wrote that garbage/planted lies a year or two ago, live in the 1980s/1990s, when most of them, now in their 50s/60s, cut their teeth in 'journalism', and the rage was printing endless stories about 'BMW bought Rover Group to get access to/nick Land Rover's world-beating 4x4 technology/knowhow'.

The filthy Huns nicked Land Rover's 'secret source' 4x4 tech, and brazenly, shamelessly stuck it in their new(1998) X5. Yeah right.

That garbage is still currency in thought with these muppets, and the cretins who read their scribblings and swallow it.

25 years later, from the debacle of BMW acquring Rover Group, the current X5 is palpably, even to the layest person, streets ahead of the Lane Rover trio - one car, three different frocks.

Hence why the Russians are buying it in volumes like it's a cheap econobox, because it's so good - from the do-anything 'base' 3-lire diesel, to the Moscow gangster-spec X5 M, to the thinking man's PHEV, with real world range of 40 miles - up to 4 times the RRSport PHEV's.

BMW buy JLR? Yeah, and Aldi will buy the corner shop, because they're afraid of it, and its 'special' tech.

Right on cue - re. the X5:

'Can you still reject it? If you can I'd bin it and try another one the BMW X5 45.
FTFY :)'

-even the UK headbangers/uber-JLR loyalists, on headbanger-central Pistionheads, recognise what an awesome car the X5 45e PHEV is.

The Disco Sport PHEV is not half the car the X5 45e is, and yets some fools gladly pay within £5k or so of the BMW's price - and then realise what an awful car it is:

'Worn front driveshaft after 3000 miles'

- the car(s)(/Evoque PHEV), as I said, was thrown out the door, just before Speth left, to prove it not a disaster/vapouraware, and massively criminally fraudulent - claimed <40 g/km CO2, real at least double - and because they are so heavy, and driven 90% of the time by the puny 1.5-litre 3-pot, through the front axle only, the drive shafts have enormous strain - trying to get going say a loaded, ~2.8 tonnes car on a hill, with a cold engine, cold, thick oil in engine, gearbox and diff, ambient temp. freezing or under, with real around 100 lb.ft of torque - something has to give - if not snap outright, bearings start to slip, graunch, etc, hence the terrible noises this guy experienced.

Totally unfit for purpose, borderline dangerous car, that should never have been released, ever seen the light of day, but JLR's 'engineers' and the git Speth signed it all off, at every stage, and the criminal vermin at the DfT rubber stamped it - of course.

Worst car ever? Quite possibly. But then a child could have told you it would be, would have to be - 3-pot driving a 3 tonne gross weight vehicle, etc.

Moderately loaded DSport PHEV - 2 adult occupants, half a tank of fuel - ~2,500 kg/6,000 lbs.

On an incline, 10%, force of gravity around 10% of directly downwards.

That's a force of ~2,500 N, pulling the car back, when the parking brake is released.

Given a typical DSport wheel&tyre diameter of ~.75 metres, that means the car needs to at least counteract this backward gravity force with a torque of ~3,333 Nm, at the driven front wheel driveshafts.

The 3-cylinder, 1.5-litre petrol engine in the DSport PHEV produces, claimed/certtified by the DfT, ~300 Nm maximum.

In reality/truth, it's around 230-240 Nm max. Let's be generous and say 250 Nm, max.

At just above idle, say ~1,250 rpm, when most normal cars start sccelearting/moving off gently, torque would be ~170 Nm, certainly no more than 200 Nm. Let's be generous and say 200 Nm.

That 200 Nm of twist force by the engine, is then sent through the automatic gearbox, and differential/final drive, to the front drive shafts, multiplying its torque by up to ~20, for first gear.

On a cold/very cold morning, starting a car from cold left overnight, that potential ~4,000 Nm of twist at the driveshatfs, can be reduced by 10, 20% at least, by cold, viscous oil(s), in the gearbox, and diff/final drive.

So let's say, the driveshafts receive ~3,200 Nm. That's barely enough to hold the car from falling backwards.

Okay, we can up the revs, produce more torque, but ~2.500 rpm and above is not exactly seemly for a 'premium', £55k car to pull away, in a not overly taxing situation.

Add more weight, a steeper incline, colder weather, tyres grabbing for traction on an icy surface, and you have potentially a car going backwwards, or at least a LOT of strain on those driveshafts, as they grip, release, grip, release etc.

I'll bet that JLR has not uprated the driveshafts, and bearings etc, for the PHEV model(s) - Evoque too.

They should be basically HGV spec - hauling a car with a gross, real weight of ~ 3 tonnes, and at speed, say motorway/autobahn speeds, a CdA that puts tremendous resistance on the car moving forward.

JLR knew all this - 5 minutes on back of a *** packet calculations. They knew the car would break down, not work, as shown by above, almost once outside the factory gates.

They knew the car at least needed a 4-cylinder engine, with at least, real 350 Nm torque, given how much the DSport, and Evoque, weighed already, and their awful CdAs, before adding ~300kg in battery, motor and power electronics to them.

They did the 1.5-litre, 3-pot thing, because they had to show to idiots that the tiny <40 g/km CO2 made sense - tiny engine --> tiny emissions --->convinced tiny minds.

The real world is the opposite - the best PHEV, for a large/heavy SUV vehicle - is one with a large, largely unstressed engine - with torque to spare - the extinct Audi Q7 V6 TDI PHEV, and the current X5 45e, with its lovely I6 petrol engine.

The fools who buy the DSport/Evoque PHEV have to think that JLR has somehow squared the circle, performed alchemy, if not witchcraft, making an econobox engine work with a gross weight 3 tonnnes, ~2x CdA of an econobox car vehicle - impossible.

They are idiots, plain and simple.

^Corrections/errors:

1. torque multiplication from engine output shaft to road wheel in a normal road car is ~10, not 20 as above, without a transfer box with a low range - like the larger Land Rovers, or a crawler gear - like Jeep

2. .75 metres is the DSport's typical wheel&tyre diametre, not radius

3. torque at the driveshaft is divided by the wheel&tyre radius, not multiplied by it, to give the required force.

So, 250 Nm of torque produced by the engine at ~1,250 rpm, becomes ~2,500 Nm at the driveshafts - before transmission losses - which becomes a force of ~2,500 divided by 0.375 metres at the tyre circumference - ~6,667 N.

Take away those drivertrain losses, very cold weather, more weight to the car, steeper incline, high speed on a long motorway incline say, etc, and the margin for power/torque over load diminishes significantly or completely - which is why the front driveshafts start making noises, and then fail.

World-renowned for probity West Midlands Plod - Birmingham Six, Bridgewater Four, disbanded Serious Crime Squad(they were doing most of it - allegedly), The Jaguar Heist(allegedly), etc - find once again absolutely nothing to see, investigate or prosecute at JLR(Solihull), but Liverpool is a different kettle of fish - the 'Bizzies' up there have always answered to no one - for good and bad :

Questions over Jaguar Land Rover testing process after covid outbreak

Police clear Jaguar Land Rover of covid breaches after second visit in a week

JLR is obviously breaking the law - forcing workers who are told to self-isolate to ignore it, or use their own app - not in the law - and leaning on local Public Health jobsworths to fall into line, or else... - Tata on the phone to Pritti Vacant Patel/Sunak/Alok Sharma/Spaffer to once again threaten to send it all to Poland, Mexico... .

They take us for mugs. JLR has f all cars to build - no chip/Brexit shortages - but they'll be damned if they're going to pay people to sit at home, when they can use refusal to work as grounds to sack, and hence reduce the workforce in large numbers without redundancy costs, and not pay N.I. for furloughing people.

These people, Bolllore, Tata, Patel, Spaffer etc, know it's a hoax, the Scamdemic, and know that 99% of the plebs don't, so they have to play both sides - keep up the pretence - 'very serious' - while trying to run a business that is already bust, can't take anymore financial burdens, but is just being limped along, the facade of, to get it to the IPO later this year, probably around Easter - the TM share price going vertical like Tesla - all planned to get the IPO away - so nothing, whether Plod, quacks, or 'The Law' must interfere with that - certainly not a scam/hoax that a bright ten year old could see through.

And that's why the e-tron is the huge - but unreported by the media - success it is, 'the quiet phenomenon' - it works in the real world - from 14:30:

Word of mouth in Norway has spread its abilities - all-season car, spacious, super quiet, tows large loads - something that they've grown to trust, if not love a little.

It's unpretentious, not showy, but works, gets on with the job, durable - appeals to Norwegian/Nordic traits.

It's slowly catching on here in UK too - taken much longer, not helped by the none too subtle 'Don't Buy German Post-Brexit' transparent campaign/brainwashing on Haymarket/JLR-front Pistonheads, and the like, but here too, in UK, word of mouth is slowly spreading its 'Does the Job-ness', in a quiet way. It's the antithesis of the I-Pace - English to German/Nordic character - BSing/PRing versus dourness but delivery.

~6,000 or more genuine e-tron sales in Norway steady-state a year is phenomenal business for Audi/VAG. Trouble is, the ID cars are engineered to a price, unlike the original e-tron, and follow-on customers will be disappointed with their Audi Q4 e-trons and the like. Tricky for VAG.

The media realise they have to cover for JLR, and almost everyone else reporting major production, near total now, stoppages for chip shortages:

'Vauxhall, Jaguar Land Rover and Nissan are now having to make cuts as shortages of semiconductors and disruption to supply chains[Brexit] hit them, too.'

- really? Says who?

'The Times reported today that Vauxhall’s Ellesmere Port factory lost half a day’s work last week and struggled to keep production going at its Luton van centre due to post-Brexit delays at ports where its lorries were stuck.

It also claimed Nissan had to cancel plans to extend shifts this week, again due to parts shortages.'

- okay, so it was The Times, but pardon me, that's two of the three accounted for. What of JLR?

'Jaguar Land Rover has had to pause production of its XE and XF at Castle Bromwich where it has struggled with lack of staff due to Covid-19.'

- so the above, opening, categorical statement by Car Dealer Magazine/The Times was factually incorrect, deliberately misleading/deceiving, a lie.

JLR's supposed production disruption is NOT caused by either the affecting-everyone-else global chip shortage, or affecting-real-UK-carmakers Brexit disruption.

Everyone and the dog in the street knows that 'Castle Bromwich production disrupted', is like saying someone heard a rustle of wind in a graveyard.

FFS, even JLR admits that CB is basically shut, has been for most of the last 2-3 years.

We know its official production schedule until around Easter 2021 at least is tiny - literally handfuls of cars, and it has, still, around 2.500 direct workers, making just dozens, at most a couple of hundred cars a week - so how in the F can it be stretched by a few 'Thing' absences?

It can't. It's the media covering for JLR, now that even the thickest have twigged that all REAL carmakers are stricken NOT by The Thing, but the massive global shortage of chips, and in UK, to an extent, a comparative distant second, disruption by Brexit trade flows.

CB 'disrupted' - F off.
