Media - Omerta - write a pixel about JLR and anything not full-on fellating - kids have to go to state school - get smashed up for being posh - they hate you, forever - your life is over, forever - wife divorces you.

The longer you live in UK, the more the penny drops that everything revolves around schools - especially if your sprogs are thick.

Use the carrot of paying for private schooling - 3rd rate arts grad scribblers, talentless military officers, F&CO, Civil service, British Council, 'businessmen' posted abroad, etc, etc, these usually already invertebrate specimens - if the had real talent they wouldn't go into journalism, civil service, etc - will do anything for you - hence the expression hack, presstitute, Lugenpress, etc.

This single subject of the non-appearing Evoque/DSport PHEV, since 2008 in fact(ERAD onwards), is crying out for coverage, and investigative journalism, ...and a ready-made case file for the DPP.

But that way lies the rabbit hole, which ends in the burren of ex-dope peddlers in Bombay, and the 'elitest' levels of the most corrupt regime in the world, the UK's.

No spineless no-mark in 'journalism' is going to commit suicide by doing that, even if he/she had the requisite grey matter - 95%+ of them don't, just copy and paste merchants, or script/autocue readers, who mummy and daddy pulled strings to get into Oxbridge, after public school.

The 2020.5/2021MY Evoque/DSport PHEV sums up where this totally corrupt and cowardly system of the last 40/50 years in the UK - since Thatcher first mass-abolished the too successful grammar schools, that were showing up all the rich-kid dunces in the private sector - has brought us to - a joke, as a national posterchild vehicle maker, and as a country - laughed at and pitied by those outside the asylum.

Mass job-cutting in a 'very specific and limited way':

'The Coventry car maker has described it as “a very small targeted voluntary redundancy programme” aimed at some salaried and management staff who are currently furloughed.'

- do Cummings's scriptwriters work for HM.gov and JLR?

'very small', 'some' =:

'One Jaguar Land Rover employee, who did not wish to be named, told CoventryLive: “I am a salaried employee of Jaguar Land Rover and, along with other Jaguar Land Rover employees still furloughed, have been contacted initially by phone and then email to be told that voluntary redundancy is now being offered.'

- hmm, maybe not so 'very small', and smacking of urgent desperation - get the buggers out the door, off the payroll immediately. What next after phone and email, calling to the home, 'suggesting' 'top JLR engineer', one of '13,000', slings his hook, like yesterday?

Maybe JLR could/will employ Serco, to moonlight from Track&Trace, doing these home visits - another £multi-billion taxpayer contract, surely.

'Have you been in contact with "Ingenium" in the last 4 years? If so, you must isolate at the Dole Office immediately - here's your £70/week Job Seekers to keep you alive over the next 20 years of your now finished life, until you die of "SLS"* at 68, after claiming the state pension for 3 months. Have a nice day'.

*Sh!t life syndrome - an actual official term used by the saints and angels in our world-beating NHS - with their mass 'Do Not Resus' orders - to cull the useless eaters.

We become more like the Soviet Union every day.

Seems not so 'targeted', more like scatter gun, blunderbuss, mow the useless buggers down - '13,000 engineers', producing the square root of zilch over the last 12 years, or pig-iron Ingenium/'41 miles EV' Evoque PHEV:

'Another said: “I am not actually impacted but a lot of my colleagues are and a lot of departments.'

- JLR telling porkies? Surely not. They're a byword for integrity.

“They got rid of agency staff but these are permanent employees and a lot of them have been with the company for a long time. “I know a lot of people who are very upset by it.”

- I bet, but you must have known, as a 'bright' engineer, marketer, 'top' PR person etc, that you worked for a joke, sham outfit, surely, one which it was just a matter of time before reality caught up with the lies, and must have planned accordingly, no? Or were you not actually very bright, swallowed the same rubbish the general public did about your 'stunningly successful', 'world-beating' employer, and are now unbelievably shocked?

You know what they say - sup with the devil with a long spoon, live by the sword, die by the sword, etc.

No sympathy. You were either too cretinous to realise, or too craven to not work for such an appallingly immoral, yes, criminal outfit, 'for years'. Tough sh!t.

You're lucky you and your colleagies are not charged as accessories, in the conspiracy known as 'JLR'.

Now toddle off and fade away, which is what your country and its real leaders want for you.

Odd that it took a fairly obscure outfit to highlight this, when UK is the global centre of media, hundreds of thousands of hacks working in this world-leading 'industry' - maybe they were all too busy reporting on JLR's 'stunning', 'world-beating' noice cancellation tech, again, for the seventh time, to cover this inconsequential story by comparison:

- Camoron's officials negotiated this massive Get out of Jail card for sacred-cow JLR, er, for Camoron's Indian oligarch billionaire Tory party donors, with the EU back around 2015, but even that they cannot meet, as they self-sell and self-register massive ICE SUVs by the bucketload, which helps with telling the simpleton public thay have a world-beating -company, but not so good for the CO2 average - Ingenium-'powered' 2.5 tonne 'Icons' etc.

The Torygraph clown scribe thinks JLR/Jaguar has a fleet of EVs:

"Jaguar has rolled out electric cars such as the i-Pace"

- hack confused reading too many JLR press releases, watching too many BBC programmes - thinks they have launched eXJ, Road Rover, electric Range Rover... , vying with Tesla for global EV top-dog - clown lives in London, an echo chamber of muppets saying how awesome UK is, and how wonderful it is to be English - won the lottery ticket in life.

'But according to the lobby group’s research, at the half-year mark JLR was 10pc or 13g/km short of hitting its less stringent target, making it the manufacturer with the biggest shortfall to make up.'

- sh!t, don't tell Cummings/Spaffer, they'll see this as world-beating again - 'We lead the world in hated EU(German) emission shortfall. Hurrah!'

So now we can see why JLR is literally flogging(selling) a dead horse(The Gamechanger) so much - every 'sale' to NHS, F&CO, Whitehall fleet, JLR self-sales, giveaways to lease/rental companies worldwide, is their only real means to get their real, 90%+, ICE-loaded, behemoth SUV-loaded average down - each 'Icon' sold with 225g+ needs 2 or more Gamechangers to offset it - hence the massive uplift in 'sales' of The Gamechanger over the last few months.

The UK taxpayer again paying for and bailing JLR out, with its EU fines.

'Taking back control' - taking back JLR's EU fines, for UK taxpayers on £7/hr, if they have a job, funding 'sales' of £70k+ Gamechangers to quacks on £100-250k/yr.

Orwell would have dismissed all this as fantasy, for his 1984 novel.

'factory order - high demand' - whatever happened to 'Jag SM'?:

'Strange how this behavior isn't noticed on the D180 model (which we have the misfortune of owning - rubbish car)
‘Tis strange enough. Maybe the journey type being done.

Otherwise I’d agree they’re rubbish. I think it equals the x-type in its contribution to the destruction of the brand.'

- the 'Wart on Wheels' - so bad, even the airheads wouldn't touch it.

If only America had an NHS... ...Model S 'sales' would be through the roof:

- the two "disruptors", Tesla and JLR, seem a tad poorly these days, more and more like the laggards, legacy-makers they and their media lickspittles claim to have smashed to simthereens.

I dunno, but maybe there was a fraud(s) going on here. Wild guess.

Why isn't this national news?:

Some 'barista' on zero-hours contract, earning £5/hr plus tips, otherwise known as casual cash-in-hand bar work 30 years ago, now a 'profession', laid off 'Oop North', constitutes the main news story on every TV bulletin and rag front page, but the largest car maker in the land going down the plughole at an increasing rate of knots, disposing of thousands of 'engineers' and other 'top' white collar 'professionals' does not.

Could it be because JLR is Indian-owned and any negative connotation with this Diversity is taboo and verboten - Plod/Dick of the Yard phoned the BBC news desk and forbid them to run a story affecting 'Community Cohesion'?

Has a journo done an actual job, had a tip-off? Why would they have flown a drone over this specific site otherwise, or someone sent them the pics/video/evidence?:

'Aerial photographs taken at JLR's national vehicle distribution centre in Baddesley, North Warwickshire, showed a fairly empty car park today - October 13.'

- that's the 'Distribution Centre', set up not that long ago, around 2016/17 from memory, to cope with JLR's 'huge expansion', a 1 million+/yr maker, over 250k cars/yr in the UK.

I said years ago someone from HM Press should fly a drone over Fen End, when JLR put out the cock and bull story about 'Driver Experience', to cover unsold/unsellable XEs piling up there, in 2015/16.

What with JLR disposing of 'IR35' 'contractors', cough, employees, many in 'engineering' and IT, around a year ago, pre-The Thing, and now this "very small" axing of actual PAYE employees, thousands of white collar staff at JLR will have gone - with hardly a peep about it by the lackey media, yet literal rolling news about hot water and stale bread servers in some northern wasteland - only kidding, I went to Liverpool Uni. for my sins.

Bollore seems worse than Speth. He's axed 'Jaguar', and now decimated - or rather more, probably 30% at least - the white collar bods, but cowardly literally won't show his face, probably hoping none of this cataclysmic news, merde sticks to him.

Just be honest, level with the about to be chopped workers and British public, and tell them the facts - JLR is biblically bust, and you are chopping as fast as you can, but still need a massive bailout from UK taxpayers, of the order of £20bn, for the next year period only.

Come out from the cupboard/bogs - John Major hid in the bogs on Black Wednesday, when the pound was getting flushed.

Now JLR and its '13,000 engineers' are getting flushed, and not a word of note in the 'heavyweight' national media.

Extraordinary times.

Five years on from Dieselgate, and the two 'Disruptors' are on the ropes, and the KO'ed cheater sprung to his feet and knocking seven shades of sh!t out of the them - labour shortage at VW:

The ID.3 is a huge hit, even TeslaBjorn having to admit that the tall, stumpy hatchback, which no way should be as aerodynamic as a low, long egg-shaped car, is 'neck and neck with the Model 3' for efficiency, with VW's problem now how to expand production quickly enough to stop delivery times of 1 year+, but so too is the Golf 8, finally, and the van operation, itself finally going head to head with the likes of PSA(/Toyota) by putting the new Transporter on the car MQB platform basis, making it much cheaper to make.

Maybe the JLR white collars can now peddle their 'world-beating' talents in The Fatherland - 'look, this is how you do a gamechanging press release'.

If only life was as simple as Spitfires and stuff written on a bus.

fake news:

- only last week the global media and his wife told us how stunning JLR's sales surge in Q3 was, with the Tata Motors share price last seen heading for Saturn on the strength of it.

Seems the 'sales surge' was actually, conveniently, faraway China, JLR's notorious dumping ground for fake sales, since their implosion there in 2015, only exceeded by JLR's even more fake sales in the UK, with its limitless ability to sell cars to itself.

'Surging China sales' is sweet fa use to JLR UK plants anyway, even if it was true, as obviously 90%+ of sales there are of Chery JV-made cars, hence the tiny little problem JLR has trying to gainfully employ around still 20,000 direct workers at Solihull, Halewood, CB and 'i54'.

Will be shocking to many:

'JLR plans to produce only around 11,000 cars in the year to March at the plant, including about 4,000 of its F-Type sports car and about 3,500 each for the XE and XF saloon cars. In the 2019 calendar year the factory produced 35,000 cars, while in 2013 it made 80,000, according to MarkLines, an industry data provider.'

- the total failure of 'New Gen' laid bare, and an open and shut case for the closure of CB - remember Thatcher and her hatchetman MacGregor, and the 'Ecomomic grounds' case for the effective closure of the coal mining industry in Britain?

What's good for the goose is good for the gander - unless the gander belons to Bombay billionaires who drop some coin in the party hat.

Uh oh - say it wasn't a lie, fraud, cover for Mayhem's going-away £500m bung etc all along:

'The limited production plans come at a sensitive time, with newly installed chief executive Thierry Bolloré understood to be reviewing all of JLR’s investment plans, including a £1bn investment in Castle Bromwich to build a new electric version of the XJ,'

- how convenient - "review" - the axing of the late 2018/early 2019 binned 'New XJ', resurrected latterly in March this year, to scotch rumours/facts that it, Jaguar and JLR were dead.

Now Bollore can come in, and 'review' this 'investment', and find it 'uneconomic', 'not viable' etc, and cancel it - when the f'ing thing never existed anyway for the last almost 3 years anyway.

FFS, when will the average Brit cop on, and realise what's going on, and has been going on - you've been royally taken for a ride.

Forget the Spitfire crap, and deal with present reality. You've been had, taken for fools, lied to, your tax money handed over to foreign billionaires, to prop up their crap, failing, uncompetitive businesses, and the 'great and good' of Brtain's 'elites' have been front and centre is this conspiracy to shaft you, over 12 years to-date(14 for British/Tata Steel), from Her Maj on downwards, through 'law enforcement', like hired prossies doing tricks for their pimp ,Tata(/JLR), and 'Sirs' and 'Lords' as bagmen, collecting the cash for the Bombay ex-dope peddlers.

Enough.

Something seems to be happening in that JLR have offered furloughed staff voluntary redundancy and this includes salaried and management staff including long-term employees. 20000 members of staff were furloughed at the beginning of the pandemic so at last somebody has realised that the whole operation employs too many people.
11000 in 2008 when Speth came 44000 when he left which does not make sense to anybody including some of the management when they saw it happening.

Not surprising that JLR would make workforce adjustments.

I think we are headed to a massive overcapacity period in the industry as soon as the global economy resets to the new normal with less central bank overtime printing.

Bollore taking the axe to the knight's empire(-building).

I suppose this explains why Tata hired an outsider, and not the shoo-in, bookies '33-1 on' favourite Nick Rogers, who of course had zero room to wield the axe, having been the epicentre of this empire building - '13,000 engineers', 'Gaydon Campus' etc - for most of the any actual engineering at JLR to be done by Bosch consultancy services in Germany, and Tier 1 supplers like ZF.

If Rogers had anything about him, he would have announced his resignation five minutes after Bollore's appointment.

Rogers reportedly is on a £million+/yr. Maybe someone so used to such high pay for such abysmal/non- performance is a cert for a top job in Serco, Deloittes, or the other Big4.

Same goes for all those 'top' JLR 'engineers', that grew in headcount mushroom fashion over the last decade. Try working in the real world now, rather than a state propaganda operation, where actually doing somethng, being able didn't matter.

Many fled the collapsing, then Proton-owned, chaotic Lotus a decade ago. I wonder if Geely-owned, massively-expanding, going-places Lotus of today will be so receptive, to these JLR refugees, especially as the boss, Popham, knows all too well the grim reality of 'stunning success JLR'.

Bonne chance, fellas - dole queue/scrapheap that way.

'Surging sales in last quarter'-JLR has to pay almost twice to borrow money what company with no business does - no one flying, no planes, no engines - hmm:

'Rolls-Royce[Aero] was set to issue £2bn worth of bonds on Wednesday as part of a rescue package that also includes a rights issue of equity. Two years ago, the company was able to borrow six-year debt for just 0.875 per cent. This time, debt spread across three currencies comes with coupons between 4.625 per cent and 5.75 per cent'

'The deal, coming after JLR last week issued $700m worth of five-year bonds with a coupon of 7.75 per cent'

'One of the company[JLR]’s previously issued bonds, which matures next year, offers investors slimmer 4 per cent returns.'

'Jaguar Land Rover sales increase 53.3% in second quarter'

- 4% to 7.75% = 'JLR now able to access bond market', 'sales surging' - right-oh.

Country/world's gone mad, so this makes perfect sense.

- I wonder what JLR has pledged for these junk bonds going delinquent/default - when, not if:

'Investors said a clause in the new bonds that could give the debt collateral in the event of further borrowing helped to get the deal over the line.'

- what the hell has JLR that's an incontrovertible asset?

The 'Range Rover' brand name, right to? 'Jaguar' - five bob and a packet of crisps?

I bet it's the former - it's only, somewhat, recognisable asset.

These 'investors' will also have been tipped the nod and the wink that UK will not allow 'JLR' to formally fall over - so effectively a one-way-ish bet - buy these 'junk bonds', at massive coupon, but the BoE/UK will pay out/buy them back, at par value, if/when things go wrong, the obvious comes out that JLR is massively bust, and has hidden the fact for the last 4/5 years.

'Capitalism' - UK-stylee - massively bent, corrupt, insiders, cronies, Plod picking his nose, scratching his ar$e, nicking 'crminals' for crticising the state/regime.

Anyone else notice that Autocar seems almost embarrassed of itself, the usual online, each Wednesday-appearing front cover and inside details of the mag in Car News gone awol since a month ago or so?

It's still there, but buried, and just happens to coincide with the now pretty regular JLR-free zone that once 'JLR Weekly' Autocar has become, save for outbursts from Cropley and the geography teacher. This week's, a good example:

50352

- thrown the towel in completely? Just waiting for Cropley to push off, before making it formal? Hezza/Rupert annoucing A/car to go online, cease?

Without JLR's shekels it can't make any money, and even Heseltine must have realised the market has moved to Carwow, Nyland etc.

It's like the BBC licence fee, or JLR itself - past its sell by date.

Dick of the Yard and her keystone cops will be right on this, unless they are too busy taking the knee, hunting dangerous criminals on Twitter disagreeing with the prescribed to the plebs official narrative, skateboarding with XR trustafarians, ensuring all communties are cohesive, or making sure Spaffer and his cabal are unhindered in shovelling hundreds of £billions of taxpayers' money into their donors' and mates' pockets:

'Land Rover has halted sales of two key plug-in hybrids as the automaker works to reclassify the emissions ratings of both cars.

Land Rover's websites in the UK and Germany state that the Evoque and Discovery Sport P300e plug-in hybrids "are not currently available to order."'

- no doubt, any second now, Dick will be feeling the collars of and perp walking for the headline story on all tonight's national TV bulletins - just like the VAG managers in the US five years ago, with a blaze of global news coverage for days/months/years to come, repeating 'cheat' and 'criminal' in every sentence - the present and past secretaries of state and ministers in the Dept. for Transport, including Spaffer's frater - also maybe frater for smashing mater's nose - the present and past civil service permanent secs. in the DfT, and the present and past heads of the quango that has directly rubber-stamped all JLR's 'fibs', fraud/conspiracy to commit fraud - official CO2, mpg, NOx, and electrical range figures - for The Gamechanger and its PHEVs, for many years, the Vehicle Certification Agency, and its previous incarnations.

Oh wait, sorry, I though for a second we lived in a normal country, not a 13 century feudal one, with a largely insane citizenry/serf class, who believe a Thing that doesn't exist is going to kill them, but not deliberate mass joblessness, poverty, loneliness and psychosis - the real purpose of The Thing.

Maybe someone blew the whistle - a small Charlie Chaplin impersonator from Bavaria?

There is no difference here to the 2018 Full-fat and Sport PHEV twins - both claimed more than by 100% fake electrical ranges, and the I-Pace - ~50% more claimed range.

So why now? A whistleblower, or fear of post-Brexit independent check?

The UK and its 'elites' have p!ssed off so much of Europe that it would be as easy as falling off a log for any of the EU27 to call in a 'P300e', or 'P400e', to have its emissions and EV range checked, which would then be relayed to the other 26, for an EU-wide standard.

Who would do that? No, not the Germans, much more likely the French, or the Spanish, or the Italians, etc.

They would of course discover, what they all pretty well knew already, as JLR's/UK's 'dirty secret', that these JLR 'stunners' are stunners by the rubbish they got away with, pre and post Dieselgate, all literally rubber-stamped by the highest UK authorities, Spaffer's brother etc, and including 'top' cops like Dick.

There was no whistelblower. JLR is bricking it over having its wares checked, by someone whose spine is not made of jelly, and can't be bought off with a few shekels - £35k per year, per sprog, for 'top' schooling, an Oxbridge place, and a place on the gravytrain, like pater.

JLR's lies spilling out everywhere:

'Kritisch ist die Situation bei Jaguar/Land-Rover, wo die Händler durchgängig unterhalb der 3,0-Marke benoten und JLR ins letzte Fünftel des Gesamtrankings befördern.'

- JLR, in the bottom fifth of ranking of 24 car companies by dealers.

But, JLR tells the world, through giving UK taxpayer funded cars away to rental and lease companies and VIPs, that it's doing okay in Germany, Jaguar even on a bit of a tear - Germans couldn't get enough of E-Pace and F-Pace last month - well, Avis, Hertz, Sixt etc would, wouldn't they, when they get them for next to nothing:

Because the media refuses to cover the situation at JLR, and/or are lily-livered vermin complying with an effective D-Notice from on-high, citizen journalism has to, increasingly, as it spirals totally out of control/melts down.

One day an emissions/mpg/BiK/VED scandal, in total cahoots with UK authorities, to hoodwink eejit loyalist UK buyers, the previous the slashing of the white collar headcount, with barely a word in the media, rather a deliberate diversion into blue collar, hourly-paid track workers being made redundant from furlough, in relatively small numbers, the previous week no coverage in the English press of JLR having to borrow money, urgently needed cash to keep going, at usurious rates, and now this, again not a word in the media:

- what the hell is going on in this world-beating, stunningly successful, maker of serial world and European cars of the year, purveyor of gamechangers, icons and stunners, which actually now resembles BL, in the late 70s, on a Friday afternoon, about 3pm, with p!ssed up workers, management awol on the golf course, and stunners like the Allegro and Marina literally being nailed together, or actively sabotaged by paid 'trots' on M*5's payroll?

Minus the last bit, JLR is now sub-BL, at its nadir, but still Comical Ali-clowns like Cropley pretend all is well, nothing to report, business as usual, 'Crisis, what crisis?', as long as vermin like him still get their pay cheque, and side bungs for their yellow journalism.

I think this 'JLR subsitutes six-cylinder engines for 4-pot in The Icon', being peddled by JLR's paid shills, is actually JLR having to panic react, to the now just weeks away reality of sending cars to Europe that may be checked, by people who haven't got a big 'PASSED' rubber stamp, from UK.gov - i.e. bent/takers of the JLR/Tata shilling/shekel.

This is actually the same as yesterday's event of the 'reassessment' of the PHEV twins' real EV range, mpg and CO2, and hence the all-critical BiK, at 11:59:59, because JLR bods know that once their vehicles get checked, by any non-UK.gov body, they'll find the truth, and even with the 'global', UK/US, media, there'll be a mighty, public scandal, and then no one but Home Counties and Yorkshire headbangers will buy JLRs, at all, with a very likely sales ban in Europe, and criminal investigations launched.

A 4-pot Ingenium diesel, producing real around 170-180PS, against claimed 240, hauling up to ~3.2 tonnes loaded weight, at up to 80-90 mph, with its huge frontal area, and high aero drag, its huge, silly gumball tyres, roof rack, side steps etc, will be chugging out NOx to beat the band, and doing <10 mpg, CO2 correspondingly through the roof, and the petrol version producing record amounts of very damaging to health nano particulates of combustion.

JLR knew this, when The Icon was conceived way back in 2015, with diesel Ingenium at its core, but Brexit only a theoretical issue.

Now, 5 years on, they're looking down the barrel of Dieselgate II, and very possiblly senior managers, senior engineers and CEO certainly, going to jail, for this subterfuge, to hide the real emissions, and the real disastrous fuel economy, high BiK, etc.

Next, surely the Slovaks will be asking questions, like 'what the F are you doing with that 200k+/yr output, €100m EU taxpayers' money big new factory, that is making a couple of hundred cars a week?'.

Over to you, Terry. Have you got Ralf's number? 'Ex-directory', heh - what a surprise.

Kacher has 'the scoop' - which I said on here weeks/month ago was '(EV)"Road Rover"'s fox shot':

50354

As I said, that is, or was, exactly the car JLR needed, as a true gamechanger and saviour.

'Road Rover' was supposed to have been the badge-engineered version of the I-Pace, with '4x4 credentials', to the Jag's 'sportiness'.

We know the story, 100 times over now - I-Pace was clear as a massive flop by early 2018, and Taycan/Taycan Turismo was becoming a known quantity, so JLR pulled the £100-150k, planned for launch in late 2018/through 2019, eXJ and Road Rover.

Now they look even more silly, with the 400 miles, €70k, luxury Lucid Air, and SUV to come.

Kacher also has 'the scoop' on the EQ S-Class SUV being the R-Class reincarnated - clear to anyone with a pair of eyes and an interest in the auto industry.

Saw one of these just on Tuesday, a 2007 diesel one.

An EV one, with posh Merc/Maybach badging, will go down a storm in China, and with rich soccer moms now.
