Today sees the first of many no doubt.
I-Pace today so far = 1

Remember Bjorn Nyland with his 'It(e-tron)'s sooo thirsty' routine/schtick?

Remember he said he was shortly going to be testing the Taycan?

He's busted.

He also damned with faint praise - barely - the EQC.

Now, the e-tron has decimated the Model 3, and the EQC is set to zoom past The Gamechanger, which he implied was a good EV, a kind of runner up to his beloved Tesla.

He was 50% a naff analyser, not really a car guy, and 50% a Tesla-pusher and anti-German prejudiced.

Now he seems to be pushing 'MG', the Chinese company, and ranting from afar about how unfair, beastly the world is being to Tesla - when it crashes into things and/or kills people, makes cars that Lada would fail for quality.

Obviously, his fellow Norwegians saw right through him, and queued up for their e-trons, and now EQCs and Taycans.

His time is passed.

I think Bjørn is just young and in many ways not really a car expert. He was just fascinated with Teslas, when they were launched, so he started making Youtube videos about Tesla cars. That developed into videos about all electric cars, when they started becoming popular in Norway. He has now discovered, that he can make a living from it, so of course he is fighting hard to stay popular and gain more followers. When he demonstrates Teslas, I can't help being impressed with the software and all the possibilities it offers. Things like dog mode, camper mode and sentinel mode are just great ideas, that no-one, as far as I know, has thought of before. Tesla also preheats the battery, when you are heading for a supercharger, and there are many other small, but very clever details. I don't know, how clever other EV's are. I'll be able to experience it, when I get my ID.3.

Bjørn is used to Teslas and know them well. But I don't think, he knows that much about cars and their technology. I can understand, if he is shocked when other EV's like the E-Tron and the EQC consumes something like 50 % more power than a Tesla. He is used to a consumption of 15-19 kWh/100 kms. Now he sits in these other cars watching the consumometer saying 27-29 kWh/100 kms. And he's thinking: "This car only has a 80 kWh battery. My teslas has 100 kWh".

He has bought an MG in Thailand, where it lives with his in-laws. It was by far the cheapest EV due to no import tax on Chinese cars. I think he's just using it to make videos, since that's what he's got. He is also stuck in Thailand due to the Corona pandemic, so he can't go home to Norway to test a Taycan.

- his video posted this morning, about some other Norwegian guy travelling in a Taycan to Malaga, ended up being just another chance to kick the Taycan/the Germans for their 'thirsty' EVs, not a patch on or near to Tesla, only recommending the Korean cars as anywhere close.

Absolute boll*cks, or balderdash to be polite.

If the e-tron was so thirsty, nowhere near to the light years ahead Tesla, why is the e-tron thumping Tesla, even the Model 3, in Norway?

Why is he basically lying about the Taycan, implying that its consumption is of the order the e-tron's, when it patently isn't?

He knows the Taycan has smashed the Tesla myth/propaganda, and can't handle it.

That's the real reason he never tested it in late Feb. or early to mid-March when he could have back in Norway. He would have had to show then its real consumption, and his Tesla is the Best crap would have been blown - see below.

He knows the Taycan is not the real threat, but the ID.3, which will show the Model 3 up for what it is, a near twice the price car, with joke quality, lesser utility, and the shyster flake Musk at the helm of the company supposed to support it.

This guy did the 'TBTP' - the TeslaBjorn Test Procedure - 90 km/h on an autobahn/highway, to get near best range - with a Taycan 4S, and got well over 300 miles, and consumption of around 5-8 kWh/100 km less than the I-Pace, when done by 'TB', who got 21-23.5 kWh/100 km, depending on ambient temp mainly:

^^^ the gap of 1-1.5 kWh/100 km of the Taycan to the Model S would mainly be explained by the ridiculous tyre pressure of the Model S, 49 psi, and 19" wheels to the Taycan's 20s, so basically the same.

So where's this great 'Tesla Advantage', the supposed 5-10 years ahead it has, on efficiency, battery tech, general EV tech etc?

VAG's boss, Diess, is smart enough to let on in public that this is the case, but he knows of course better than anyone that Porsche/VW group is already at least shoulder to shoulder with Tesla, and will kill it dead with its huge cost advantage - $100/kWh battery cost, maker of 10 million+ vehicles a year, huge upfront spend on the BEV platforms, not the per unit cost, hence the €30k ID.3.

He knows making an ID.4 costs VAG buttons over the cost of the base 'MEB' ID.3, the cost having been sunk into the platform, so a $35-40k ID.4 will clean up against the Model Y, and make a profit.

It's Henry Ford's Model T, as I've said, all over again.

It would have been too much for Bjorn Nyland to show how amazing the Taycan is, hence why he didn't do it when he could, a month or more ago.

The I-Pace/Jaguar/JLR is dead, so we may as well concentrate on the US JLR, Tesla, to see how, like JLR, 'it is crushing the legacy/German makers' - according to the media/received 'wisdom' these last few years:

- no sh*t.

Johnson also reminded people that Tesla's battery range is "not what it seems", even sourcing pro-Tesla website InsideEVs for his data.
- no sh*t squared. You mean Tesla is to the EPA/DoJ/US rogue state as JLR is to the DfT/Plod/whole rotten, corrupt UK state, BBC etc? Noooo sh*t.

Who knew? Except this 'Deep Dive' super analyst, and moderately bright five year olds everywhere up until around 1995 - work it out.

The media have completely unreported, non-reported the destruction of, shellacking Tesla has received from 't'urds' like the 'compliance' e-tron, ancient eGolf, and BMW's armada of super PHEVs, and now Volvo's and Merc's too, with the ID.3/4, Volvo/Polestar's BEVs etc to come.

If it doesn't get reported by the MSM, it didn't happen, right? That's the modern world, isn't it?

The Tesla fanboys, thirty-, fortysomething men-children, seeing the freak, loony tune, crook billionaire Musk as their Messiah, surrogate hero-dad, could not take too much truth, any truth, over the reality of their 'paradigm'shifter' Tesla, which is now being gobbled up by the 'Cheat' VW.

That's also why Bjorn Nyland has basically solved the problem of the Taycan, its exposing of the Tesla '10 years ahead' myth/Big Lie, by ignoring it, 'non-personing' it.

All those who nailed their colours to Mad Musky's mast, are now going down, sinking with no rescue in sight, like the raft of the Medusa.

Cannibalism(metaphorically, folks) would be too good for these venal clowns.

Talking of Volvo(Polestar)/Geely/Sweden/China being on a roll - with their German designer/boss:

If we can only get "Mutti" out of the way, and German industry leaders calling the shots for Germany, Sweden/Germany/China plus the energy resources of Russia, Iran, Iraq, Syria... , would be unstoppable. Is this what scares the sh*t out of 'The Axis of Democracy', aka The City and Wall St?

Nature abhors a vacuum, or a Tesla-pusher conveniently forgetting to test the best EV in the world, for 2 months, then blaming The Thing, so this German guy, who probably believes 'TeslaBjorn' is on the up, has stepped into his shoes, and done the tests 'the objective EV guy' failed to do, as it would have exploded the Tesla myth, his head, his business, his whole schtick of the Germans being plodding no-hopers, against the magical, 'alien tech'?, fleet of foot, Messiah-led Tesla.

Lieutenant Gruber and his little tank('Allo 'Allo) - he sounds like him, very funny - is back.

~17.5 kWh/100 km at ~100 km/h - not far off UK motorway speeds = 'easy' - to quote ipaceforums.co.uk 'owner'/shill 'Chewy' - 300 miles range.

50035

- ~230 miles range at European/US highway/fast UK motorway speeds is not bad either - far in excess of the scum EPA's figure at over twice the average speed.

- ~170 miles at fast Autobahn speeds is at least 50% more than an I-Pace would do.

So much for Tesla-pusherBjorn saying 'the Taycan is not a long-distance EV'. The guy's tripping, or realising his business is going down the drain.

So Porsche/VAG caught cheating again, and again, and again... :

  • the top speed of the Taycan(Turbo S) is nearly 170 mph, at least 5mph higher than stated
  • the consumption is lower than Porsche/WLTP/German KBA/BMVI stated - cheating ****s!
  • the range is higher than stated - 350 miles+ at WLTP average speed and ambient temp
  • the car can charge from 0 to almost 80% in 20 mins.
  • and last but very not least, the Germans lied and cheated gullible punters with the battery size/capacity(larger battery size), claiming 93.4 kWh, 83.7 kWh available, whereas it's very likely the actual size/capacity is around 100 kWh, with around 90 kWh available - Mercedes pulled a similar trick/deception with the EQC's pack.
- cheating b*stards. Thank god we have The Gamechanger, and the Queen's Civil Service to scrupulously check its credentials, and Her Maj's Press to verify all this on behalf of consumers.

Imagine if 'Lieutenant Gruber' did this is Blighty. He would:

  • be in clink now
  • have been snitched on by thousands/millions of 'concerned citizens, doing their duty' - jealous, system-toads
  • have never have got his Taycan test videos to YouTube, as Plod/Highways Agency would have headed him off, probably due to a 'concerned citizen' phoning them, have been arrested and put in custody, without bail, as 'a highly dangerous criminal', to be sent down within weeks/days for probably 18-24 months prison, under the 'Lockdown Rules', cough, Martial Law for the Plebs, not some pigs are more equal than others regulations.
  • be treated generally by the media whipped up hysterical mob hoi polloi as Public Enemy No.1
Nothing tells you more about the real culture of a country, and the real nature, good, bad, truly tolerant, getting on with their lives, or vindictive little jealous sh!ts, dying to turn you in to their beloved, kowtowing to authorities and 'betters', than videos like this.

'Lieutenant Gruber' wouldn't have the faintest that what he is doing/did over the last week or so, the Easter period, would be viewed by 99% at least of Brits as heinous, deserving of maximum detection, apprehension and swift, severe punishment, plus maximum coverage, public shaming and humiliation, principally by the vermin of Fleet Street.

The fact that Germany went through 2 world wars, was invaded, occupied, divided and is still basically occupied, by the US/NATO, 70 years on, has given the people a healthy scepticism of 'authority', especially in the old DDR, and more than lip service paid to rights and freedoms.

The UK is the polar opposite - talk endlessly about Freedom, Democracy, never conquered/invaded for a thousand years, the mother of parliaments, Magna Carta, Bill of Rights, 'we fought Fascism/Naziism/Tyranny' etc, but when it comes to it, brass tacks, reality. the vast, vast majority of Brits fold like a cheap suit, when it comes to the merest whiff of a threat of a fine or arrest for 'doing something wrong' - whatever the 'authorities', more equal pigs, say that is.

So depressing, so disappointing, but so predictable.

Explains why Norwegians are buying e-trons, EQCs, Taycans, even ancient eGolfs... , by the boatload, once they became available, and not Tesla junk, which is the US version of JLR - a PR/psy op for the patriotic, loyalty to the system brainwashing of the little people in the US, and looting by insiders of billions of tax dollars/pounds.

Wall Street, Goldman Sachs etc, and the US media pump this crap to high heaven - literally with the share price - as the UK establishment and media does in the UK with JLR, while the products themselves go from bad to worse, to absolute junk, as human nature says if you keep getting free passes/get out of jail cards for appalling behaviour, lying, deceit, thieving etc, you will keep stepping it up, especially as you have more and more contempt for the clowns/buyers who fall for you and your partners' obvious lies.

But 'Chewy' on ipaceforums.co.uk was always saying last year that he would travel 4-up with clobber from his home in the Forest of Dean to B'ham/Black Country, possibly on flash 22" rims, for football or something, up to 250 miles round trip, even in winter-ish temps, nearly all motorway, and 'easy' do it in one charge, but this geezer, one-up, no clobber, spring temps, little or no wind, averaging just over UK motorway speeds, 126 km/h, manages not even 100 miles of range, around 75 miles. It's almost as if 'Chewy' was lying, or a fantasist, or paid by JLR to pretend to be a private owner and brainwash fools with his lies that the I-Pace was not the fraudulent piece of sh!t it obviously was and still is.

Must have been done by 'Chewy', infamous for '250 miles plus 'easy' at motorway speed' - moonlighting from the shut down for good JLR/UK, now working for the Clown, Fieldmouse and Captain Boring, in Trump's 'I'll fight these sons of bitches' America:

'300 miles easy', to quote the clown who thought everyone bought his I-Pace 'owner' schtick:

Not only does this tell us, again, that the US regime, EPA, DoJ, pols, lackey media etc, just like the UK's, makes the Soviet Union look like rank amateurs, when it comes to corruption and propaganda, it also shows that the UK's Lockdown, cough, Martial Law for the Plebs, is a tad more 1984 than even in Liberal California.

If Matt Farah had done what he did in UK, he'd now have been grassed up by thousands, tens of thousands of authorities-adoring, 'good citizens' snitching Brits, perhaps hoping for a reward, for their loyalty, and be at least warned, if not arrested by the State Stasi, sorry, 'the world's most respected police, for breaking Lockdown Laws - whatever the state and its agents say they are - and of course Porsche would be in deep trouble too for offering the car in the first place, probably massively fined, and its CEO personally arrested and charged.

The fact that the I-Pace/JLR was so fraudulent, state-endorsed, backed and protected at every level, media, BBC, Whitehall, Plod doing the Heist for them, Royals, etc, etc, and we now live in a de facto tyrannical state, is not unconnected, as the one had to lead to the other.

Those who didn't object or see the danger of the first, are now suffering the consequences, of their laziness, cowardice, and simple failure to call-out obvious, wanton wrong-doing.

It was kind of funny when the media scum were showering The Gamechanger with award after award, and the 'highly respected' British Civil Service, known the world over for its absolute integrity, propiety and immunity to political interference, was rubber stampiing criminal lies, time after time, massive fraud, fake range, fuel consumption, CO2, RDE-compliance etc, and threatening criminal prosecution of VW for Dieselgate, when JLR's engines were the world's worst NOx spewers, for a few billionaires in Bombay, and their mult-million paid lackeys like Speth, or the British Establishment was giving these lackeys and Tata bagmen, like Bhattcharyya, every noble title under the sun, but it's certainly not now.

Audi seems to be getting its confidence back, driven by the huge success of the e-tron, now no longer hiding its light under a bushel, instead calling out the joke, fake 'fastest charging' of "compettitors", i.e. Tesla, and not even bothering with The Gamechanger, due to the fact it outsells it genuinely at least 20:1, like comparing a Golf to an Allegro in the 1970s, or a 5-Series to an XF now.

50038

50039

Audi's/VAG's huge investment in the 'legacy', compliance', 'so thirsty' e-tron - e-tron, e-tron S, e-tron Sportback - has paid off, with smart customers realising they were getting a £100k+ car in terms of development, or a Bentley for an Audi price, as I said.

The Model 3 by comparison is a one-trick pony, acceleration, but everything else is unacceptable in a budget £10k car.

People wise up eventually.

No wonder Diess, Audi's VAG boss, is so bullish on getting VAG back to work, and cranking out the new ID.3(ID.4, Seat, Audi clone etc), which he knows will make the e-tron look like just a warm-up act, crushing Tesla and everyone else.

Not much sign of Lockdown in Mad Mutti Marxist Merkel land:

Plenty of sign of the EQS being The EV of the S-Class world, not the PR thing 'New XJ'/'eXJ' that we saw a few weeks ago in Lappland - which even JLR have said is now cancelled anyway - again, after the first time in 2018/19.

The Thing has done Mercedes and VW a favour, with the troublesome development of the EQS, new S-Class and ID.3.

As key, critical vehicles, it has allowed them to super concentrate on getting them straight, and out, with little diversion, distraction in the way of running factories, 'background noise' etc.

Another own goal by the so-so clever 'They'.

The EQS will be what the 'eXJ' wanted to be - a large/limousine, luxury, 'sporting', rear hatchback/fastback saloon - while Mercedes provides the traditional customers, i.e. mainly China/SE Asia, livery service in Europe, with the new ICE/PHEV S-Class/Maybach/Pullman, with its totally enclosed limousine cabin.

But then it's a real company.
