Hello all

Sorry posted in the welcome first so oppss

I purchased my 2009 XF in October and apart from the initial dpf problem . ( I was a supermarket filler .but since changing to only optimum fuel no problems .)

I have really enjoyed my first ever Jaguar .problem is 2 weeks ago after the car had been parked outside office all day I went to start it and although it fired up , it was a violent shaking tick over with no throttle .

Got it to my local jaguar specialist and they first tested all the modules £215, they then did a oil pressure test £145 . Next up fuel injectors sent off for testing £700 in all cases above all came back no problems .

Today they have told me it's a fault they have in a couple of cars and have got in touch with jaguar over fueling to passenger side . Has anyone heard of this before ? If so give us a shout of what the cure was so I can give the guess garage a hint as its over 2 weeks now and £1000 and I still don't know what's wrong or when I can expect the car back

Did you ever find out what over fuelling to the passenger side meant?
