15 September 2015:

Jaguar has announced the Jaguar F-PACE First Edition – an exclusive special edition F-PACE, strictly limited to just 2,000 vehicles globally, with only 200 available in the UK.

Jaguar’s world-class design team have created the unique and sporty First Edition to pay homage to the F-PACE’s original inspiration – the breakthrough C-X17 concept vehicle. The specially-created First Edition is the purest representation of the C-X17 and features exclusive design details true to the original concept.

The F-PACE is Jaguar’s first performance crossover and is packed with world-leading technology including the new, super-fast and super-intuitive In Control Touch Pro infotainment system. Featuring sharp, contemporary graphics and a 10” tablet style touch screen, the system is complemented by a suite of specially developed apps and a wifi hotspot that allows up to eight devices to connect at once.

Gerd Mauser, Chief Marketing Officer for Jaguar Land Rover, said:
“Two years ago, Jaguar revealed the C-X17, right here in Frankfurt. Since that time we have been inundated with people asking us to make it and it was this growing interest that inspired us to create the F-PACE First Edition - a Special Edition to celebrate the C-X17 concept.
“With only 2,000 units available globally, we expect the Jaguar F-PACE First Edition to sell out – we are receiving an incredible amount of interest from customers who want to be the first and who want the best.”
F-PACE First Edition models get a unique paint colour: the stunning Caesium Blue that featured on the original C-X17 concept.

Further unique design details include special 22-inch Double Helix Alloy Wheels with grey finish and contrast inserts, a unique interior with Houndstooth embossed Windsor Leather Sports seats, special carpet mats and a Gloss Black trim finisher, which also features the modern yet quintessentially British Houndstooth pattern.

In addition to the unique features, Jaguar’s designers have hand-picked their favourite F-PACE design and technology options to make the First Edition the epitome of high-specification luxury. These include Jaguar’s superb, new and intuitive infotainment system – InControl Touch Pro – and sports car-derived performance technology including Adaptive Dynamics.

Red brake calipers, full-LED headlights with LED ‘J’ blade Daytime Running Lights, panoramic roof, illuminated metal tread plates and configurable interior mood lighting are amongst the other luxurious features also included as standard. The sporty look is completed by the S model body kit, which comes as standard.

The Jaguar F-PACE First Edition comes with the 3.0-litre V6 300PS diesel engine with eight-speed automatic transmission and All-Wheel Drive and costs £65,275.

Jaguar Land Rover UK Managing Director Jeremy Hicks said: “F-PACE First Edition is the ultimate F-PACE, with all the style, performance, technology, luxury and exclusivity that make Jaguar cars so exciting. With only 200 models available in the UK, we anticipate it selling-out very quickly.”

The Jaguar F-PACE First Edition is available to order from retailers now, with deliveries in Spring/Summer 2016.

Hard to imagine that an American , never mind Baron, would pay 100% premium !

£65,275 and that's before you start adding any bling to it
As I understand it, you can't add anything. It already has the bling. If you want to configure your own F-Pace, you can just order an ordinary one.

I'm guessing the pics are of the "sporty" model by the agressive looks? Entry-level may look a little less exciting?

I'm not a fan of the Evoque either, I just meant that they are very popular. But actually, the Evoque at least looks different to other cross overs, whereas the F-Pace looks like the Audi equivalent, with a Jaguar face.

The evoque has to small boot for what I require so the choice was either a Range Rover or a jaguar saloon and VW T5 conversion which is what I now have, the two lurchers now for travel in the T5 and I enjoy driving around in what in my opinion is the looking saloon, the XF.
