So I hit a small pothole last night. To my surpise this morning I have a bubble in the pirelli p zero runflats which cost around $500 a tire in the US. I just ordered a set of new tires because I know this is not the last time this beast will hot a pot hole or roll over a nail. This pirellis are really bad in the winter and are made for the track.

The standard XF Pirellis are not run flats but normal tyre technology. The only runflat offered by Jaguar is a 19" Dunlop SP01.

I think you'll find any summer tyre to have these issues in the snow but I doubt there is an all season tyre available in that size. Jaguar recommend a Pirelli winter tyre in that size.

We have found the Dunlop Sport Maxx to be a better tyre and I've noticed in the pictures of the new XFR press drives that all the cars are also wearing Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres, seems like Jaguar have found the same result.
