The aim of this trip is to raise £10000 for Help for Heroes. At present 10th August, we are at £16974!
I will keep a running total of the funds raised here, updating it as often as possible.
For those amongst you that just cant wait, you can look at the just giving site here:

Peter has just reminded me of a little auction we held back at the beginning of the year. Here is what was in the Jaguar newsletter:

‘Wooden’ you love to have a Jaguar XF?
On a recent trip to Kenya a Jaguar XF fan decided to create a souvenir with a difference by commissioning a local craftsman to make a bespoke XF model out of wood. The one-of-a kind XF replica is now being auctioned on xfforum.co.uk in aid of a private fundraising road trip for Help the Heroes. To bid for the rosewood Jaguar XF model visit: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2364

The winning bidder was Bob, who very kindly paid an amazing £250.
Also worthy of a mention is Wellington, whom bid £150 and still donated the money even though he was outbid!
