Hi. Just bought a 2010 XF 3.0l
Love the car. Love the engine.
Only issue is the now defunct external audio options.
Is there any software updates that allow me to use my phone via the usb dock, or would I need a full head unit replacement/upgrade.

Or do I just have to live with it?...

But a 2010 XF doesn't have a USB socket, does it? How would you do it via a software update?

unfortunately no soft updates to that extend (if any that is...).

Cheers pal. I've found a happy medium. Got a Bluetooth adapter for the aux input that runs off my phone without interrupting the Bluetooth phone connection with the vehicle.
