I have 18" Dunlop SP Sport 01 tyres that have done just under 16K.

The front offside was replaced at the first service last month - the dealer reported a dangerous bulge on the inner sidewall.

This afternoon I noticed a bulge in the sidewall of the rear near side tyre and am currently waiting for Jag Assist to come and put the space saver on as I can't get a new tyre until tomorrow.

I haven't knowingly kerbed either tyre and have never previously had damage such as this - so am I just unlucky or has anyone else had similar problems?

Jaguar do say that they will assist you with a warranty claim against the the tyre manufacturers if the tyre has failed. Starting point is to ensure that the tyre isn't dumped; have it examined by a tyre specialist.

What is the procedure for getting Jaguar's assistance - is it via a dealer or directly with Jaguar?

I have to say, I don't know what the procedure is.
If you look through the Warranty document, enclosed with the Handbook, I think you will see a reference to it there. Failing that, I would ask Jaguar at [email protected]

It was bad luck!

I went to my local tyre shop and their opinon was that I must have hit someting and damaged the tyre - that were very certain so no warranty claim and had to fork out for another new one.
