I clicked through the banner ad at the top of the page for the topic "headlights a bit dim" and was linked to the company shown below. Xenon Auto lamps £9.99 for the pair, maybe they will not fit the XF, I didn't look further, but it seems that this might be the way to go.

Mmm...Well they're cheap!
The Philips Extreme are £25+ per pair.
I can personally recommend the Philips, but as for these, who knows.

P.s. I am someone that does go by the ethos "you get what you pay for"
Is it really worth skimping the extra few quid on a £35k motor?
