Although not a problem, when ever I go slowly over a bump (sleeping policeman) or even the 1" lip in my garage it sounds like the back axle is climbing into the boot (trunK), is this common. I have checked that everything in the boot is tied down.

Looks like another trip along the coast is due to renew old aquantainces :)
Seriously, I have noticed an odd noise when passing over one particular road hump.
It may be the angle of the hump, too steep perhaps, but it only ever occurs on this one hump in the town of St Neots in Cambridgeshire. I have often thought that the noise, a grating was asscociated with the rear spring maybe, might be eradicated with some grease.
Must remember to mention it to the dealer when next there.

The noise is like I have just dropped my toolkit on the floor, very clunky. I will hold out until the last minute can not face another trip to my dealer.
