Short of time but need to give your XF windows a sparkle?

Get some normal household Windolene spray (the green, watery liquid and NOT the thick stuff). Spray onto you windows sparingly and use a couple of sheets of folded kitchen towels to wipe dry. The texture of a kitchen towel is such that it has exactly the correct level of abrasivenees to shift dirt and is absorbent so it dries up the Windolene as you wipe.

You can use this procedure both inside and outside. It takes under 10 minutes to clean yuor windows. Use fresh kitchen towel sheets when the old ones get dirty - this avoids smearing dirt all over your windows. When you've cleaned the windows, use the folded kitchen towel to wipe the wiper blades too, thereby ensuring there's no grit that could scratch the windscreen.

^ That might not be a bad idea. The rear window is nearly horizontal so rainwater sticks to it a bit too much. My previous car had a rain-repellent coating on the side windows as standard which was very useful too. It might be worth coating at least the front sides with RainX too.
