Hi all,

I have recently started losing coolant at a quick rate, no obvious leaks and no broken pipes that i can see (but im not a mechanic). Now the restricted performance mode has appeared. I cant see any obvious White foam building up on oil cap and no indication of oil overfilling on the dash. Its not been over heating either. Any ideas on what i could check? I work for the ambulance service and cant get it into a garage for the next week. Plus i dont fancy being ripped off due to the loss of work for garages this lockdown has caused.
Thankyou.

There is a hard plastic coolant junction buried in the engine V at the rear which causes this, unfortunately it is not easy to get to or a cheap fix you could do yourself. You will need to get this to a Jaguar specialist mechanic to rectify, but don't drive it or you could risk head gasket and cylinder head damage.
