    I've done it. All I've got to do is pay for it...

    After some intense negotiation, I've just ordered a 3.0D Premium Luxury in Lunar Grey with parking pack.

    Part ex agreed (never a pleasant experience), deposit paid, finance confirmed.

    How excited am I? You know...

    Congratulations Steve, now the restless nights begin! Along with the anxiety...should I have perhaps ordered this as well as that and should I change the colour or not!?!

    Totally.

    I lost more than the price of a new small new car in 18 months on my trade in, and I know others will have lost more, we can't all be either mad or in a mid life crisis can we? If someone put this to you in a business proposition you would laugh them out the room. The only consolation is if you were to trade in the wife/husband it would cost you a whole lot more! So maybe it's not so expensive after all!

    Welcome. This is a brilliant website.

    Been on here a cople of weeks now and an XF owner since Tuesday. I traded in a Hyundai IX35 4WD in the middle of winter for my XF so my wife thinks I am mad. However after a couple of trip with her she is coming around though she won't admit it!

    Good to hear the fact finding mission is over and you ordered a 3.0 PL ... great choice.
    And after the not so pleasant experience of the part-ex you now will be able to enjoy the pleasant experience of waiting for it to be delivered
