    service cost advice

My Jaguar Portfolio 3.0d 2013 has done approx 40K miles. I've only purchased it last June and so it has come up to the first service requirement under my ownership. From the service book the vehicle has had the following service to date:
    Service A @15K
    Service B @ 30K
    Service A @ 38K

I've only driven 1700 miles approx since the last service at 38K which was one year ago. My understanding is that a major service is due this time round (service B) but would like an indication of what would be considered a reasonable dealer price? I've also realised the brake fluid should be changed every 3 years and really should have been done by the dealer at the last service interval, unfortunately this was not the case and so I am planning to have this done during this service. I assume other owners have followed the 3 year guidance on changing brake fluid?

    Thank you Bik3rz,
I've managed to negotiate a price of £350 for a major B service and brake fluid change from an Independent Jaguar Specialist. Appears quite reasonable against the prices in the above link.

My local dealer is Marshall Jaguar Oxford, successors to Guy Salmon and then Ridgeway, from whom I have received excellent service in past years. When I called Marshall's today to book an annual service (major/B, just coming up to 60,00 miles) I was dismayed to learn that they have withdrawn from the fixed price servicing scheme, and want to charge me a cool £164 more than the fixed price. I can switch to a participating dealer 33 miles away, but before I do so does anyone have any recommendations for independent Jaguar specialists in the south Oxfordshire area?
