Re: Welcome to the Jaguar XF Forum
Hello Ancill and welcome I note the others are tempting you with ivory leather, which is very luxurious, but in order to obtain it you would probably have to upgrade to a PL, which is also wonderful though a trifle more expensive. I would heartily recommend this course, but only if you would have sufficient funds in reserve for the stickers

Re: Welcome to the Jaguar XF Forum
An upgrade to the PL was tempting, however, I decided on the Luxury S (same cost as the PL) as the performance, piano black trim and sports seats were particularly appealing to me, of course if my budget were sufficient to stretch to a PL S or Portfolio S then I would have not hesitated to place my order for the higher level of trim I have 2 young children so a light coloured interior trim would not remain that way for long also, from my experience of nappa leather in other brands, I expect the bond grain leather to wear better from the abuse that my children will give it!!! Black on such a large car may prove to be quite a challenge to keep clean!!!

Re: Welcome to the Jaguar XF Forum
Hi everyone,
Just ordered a 3.0d Premium Luxury in Lunar Grey from H A Fox in Nottingham. Was browsing the net and came across this forum which obviously contains a lot of helpful advice to new owners.
My previous Jaguar was an S type which I had for 4 trouble free years, then had 2 years of a Porsche 911 Carrera 4 which was not as happy an experience as I had anticipated. Had a BMW 535D for the past 5 and a half years, excellent vehicle and was about to change for the latest 525D when I thought I should have a test drive in an XF. That convinced me that I should return to Jaguar and I am looking forward to delivery middle/end of September.
Seem to be quite a few people swopping from BMW to Jaguar - doing our little bit to support the UK economy!

Welcome aboard mike405, sounds like you need a countdown clock to ease the wait . You will appear on the Arrivals Board with one of these hand accessories in your signature. PM me if interested... As it's late, I'll save pekem the trouble, have a look here for something you may not have considered as an essential option to add to your new XF.

Picked up my new toy 3.0D Luxury in Ebony on the 10th June in London and drove it home to France the following day. I love it.

Re: Welcome to the Jaguar XF Forum
Hi to all on the forum, I have just joined today, and look forward to meeting some of you. I've been observing the forum for the last few months now while waiting for the XF that I ordered. I accepted delivery of my car (its a 3.0D Vapour Grey with Ivory interior and Rear Camera) just over 4 weeks ago, and thought that it was finally time to join the forum as a member. I have owned 2 Audi's (had an A4 first) and have just replaced my A6 3.0 D S-line quattro with the XF. Considering they are supposed to be pitched against each other, the XF is streets ahead in terms of ride, comfort, and visual appeal.....best decision I have made for a long time! I have posted a few photos of the car for those of you who might be interested. Attachment:

Re: Welcome to the Jaguar XF Forum
Hello SamS, thank you for joining us You need not have waited to join us until being actually in possession of your XF, as I am sure we would all have enjoyed winding you up with anticipation, whilst you watched your countdown clock until the momentous day arrived But arrived it has, and what a fine example you have (well they all are), which has brightened up an otherwise sunless scene I have just noticed stickers, sorry pekem, has just welcomed you stickers (sorry), so I do not need to stickers (whoops) proffer my normal stickers (aargh) invitation

Re: Welcome to the Jaguar XF Forum
Welcome SamS, I know what you mean, I visited the forum for months before feeling worthy enough to become a member once I'd actually placed my order Sooo pleased you like your new XF and interesting to read your comments re the comparison with your previous Audi's. Great pictures and beautiful car. Vapour with Ivory is stunning. Enjoy.
