sharkinthepool -- I think you have to splice into the side lights, that is why I don't want to fit them myself :o

If you do that, they'll only come on with the side lights - most running lights I've seen come on with the ignition.

I agree with ep90, unless these come on with the ignition they can't be described as daytime running lights. It's not rocket science, so it's just a matter of finding a power source that comes on with the ignition and slicing into that.

After my previous post I did try calling Adamesh but they've closed for their summer shutdown. I'll try again in a weeks time.

sharkinthepool -- please keep us updated as I think there is a few of us who are interested.

I wonder if they would agree a bulk price discount for this forum. I for one would be interested.

ep90 -- I think you are right about the wiring, however that is what they say on the website.

I would think you would need a permanent live cable from the ignition or link into fuse.

They're not a million miles from where I live. I think I'll drop by to have a chat when they return from vacation.

The XK ones look fab... while I'm here though...

Sharky...I'd be interested in those, although they fit over the standard chromes... and stick out quite a bit (10mm ish) by the looks.. but if the price was a bit better (group/forum pricing hehe) and they could easily be wired to be ignition sensitive rather than sidelight/headlight dependant, this may be a good compromise.
