Post Diesel S and non S
Hi

I am new to XF ownership and had been looking into chipping my 3.0D until the dreaded "performance restricted" sign lit up last week and my car is waiting for areplacement turbo actuator.

My previous Audi A5 3.o diesel was chipped by Superchips from 240 to 295bhp with a sizable improvement in performance. From researching the chip companies the non-S XF can be uprated to about 275 and the S to about 300bhp.

My question is; is there any significant hardware difference between the 2 cars or is it just ECU tweaks by Jaguar and if the latter can my car be chipped up to 300bhp.

As Pekem says Spires is your best route.

My biggest concern is warranty & reading other posts most people seem to have the same concern.

The engine differences are just injector size and a bit of the exhaust.

For this reason the non S can be taken to 295bhp, i.e. it is restricted in standard form.

Pekem, as this post was a generic mapping question and not specifically for us I'm not sure it should be in our section as other mapping solutions are available...?
