Could I have my name added to the list?

I have an XF Luxury on order in Claret with delivery expected in early April. Current car is an XF Luxury and despite this I am still excited at the thought of a new XF. I have just been advised that it is due off the production line on 2nd April and I am hoping to see it as I have a visit to the factory planned.

I am now the owner of a Jaguar XF.
Picking up a new car is one of the nicer things the more fortunate get to do every so often. I am sure (after reading other member descriptions) that if that car happens to be an XF the experience is all the more enjoyable.
Imagine then if you can my shock yesterday at 6:15pm when after a lifetime of standard family saloons from the Peugeot, Vauxhall and Ford stables and never owning a BM, Merc or Audi I drove away in my very first luxury car.
I was always expecting the XF to be different but without taking the test drive I didn't really know what to expect.
Well.....
The difference is mind blowing, crawling out of the dealer I could hear nothing except the wheels turning and the seatbelt rubbing on my shoulder. The whrrrr of the engine as I accelerated away and the sheer comfort of the whole experience was worlds apart from my previous driving experiences.
I now have a car that the guys at work just want to sit in, other drivers want to look at and I never want to park because I can't find a space far enough away from other cars.

Although the dealer handover wasn't the event I was expected after reading some of your experiences I was not bothered in the least once I was in the car.

Please may I have my * now Pekem?

Congrats IronD, I just can't keep away from this place... I think I may be addicted to XFs ;)

Having had Jag's for the past 6 years, I can relate to what you are saying regarding luxury (quiet, solid etc). I've had quite a few new cars, but this will be my first new Jag...

I'm so excited for you.

Hope you enjoy your new ride!
