bluetooth connection phone to Xf - the person on the other end of the call hears an echo of himself repeating what he has just said!!

Very irritating for them!!

Any tips on how to prevent this?

i have to give it to jaguar this is one of their best cars i have a brother who owns one and i was fortunate to drive it. i think that their 2.7 diesel is the best with the twin turbo you should feel that thing kick off wow but im a fan of the xj8 and also the note book but must say the xf is a good replacement for the s-type.

I bought an XF in June 2008, having been a BMW driver for a number of years my most recent being the 3 series coupe, never a bit of trouble and always a pleasure to drive and still a stunning looking car (Imola red too which sets it off a treat) - however my first jag was this XF 2.7 diesel premium Luxury. The car certainly is one of the best looking cars on our streets and finished in dark metallic grey with the additional chrome side vents, ivory leather interior this car is an absolute picture of beauty, however the truth of owning this car is somewhat different. i have had the car back in at the dealer 9 times now, 3 times for a leaking diff (after 3 'repairs' a new diff had to be fitted) a leaking passenger window, door seal replaced twice and finally the door had to be taken off and refitted to finally stop the leak. it also had the usual faulty fuel cap, most recent was a fault in the auto gear selector, so after beiong towed home and leaving the car in the dealers for another week and a new gear selector fitted i am now hoping that my regret of owning a jaguar is short lived and i can get back to enjoying the many comments I get from passers by and other road users on how fabulous the is (if only they new)

I'd like to know where to get it for that cost to include the DAB radio(ie £890)!! Jag were surprised at this cost and the best they could do was £1026; their explanation was £890 for the B&W but had to order DAB at an extra £245, then gave me reduction so priced at £1026.. and I couldnt argue as has to be factory fitted.

I feel that the greys and silver especially are very boring colours for the car. The best colours I would say are black , blue and red. Black/blue make it look very luxurious but the red gives the car a lot of 'look at me' appeal. When my bmw finance is up I will probably be going for a red or a black one!

Hi, I just bought a Jag XF 2,7D Premium Lux Botanical Green, my first Jag. And I really have to admit, these are awesome new sensations!! A new Standard! But above all what we need now is Mr. Ian Callum. He really got it right. He brings Britishness to Life again like did Mr.William Lyons in the 50's and 60's so well. This is just what Jaguar is all about. The Spirit of Jaguar: being Different and very Singular - very Special!! like Jeremy Clarkson! It's Calluminous!!

I think the XF has done very well to scoop so many awards. It is so much more appealing than anything else on the market. I think I'll order an SV8 model in Radiance!
I don't want to waste £60,000 on anything else.
