I’ll just say that I am 22 at this point.
These awards that the XF has picked up come as no surprise to me at all. The car is fantastic whatever way you look at it. It is ten times better than the S-Type, which still makes a brilliant second hand proposition.
I couldn’t be bothered to buy a German saloon because they are ugly and only idiots buy them as status symbols.
Anybody who is prepared to criticize the XF in any way doesn’t have any taste and must be of lower class. If the car was crap it wouldn’t have scooped What Car, Car of The Year 2008.
I will be ordering an XF SV8 within the next 12 months (as long as I pass my test!) and refuse to waste £60k on a souless Audi, BMW or Merc.
Furthermore, people that winge about the XF looking like a Mondeo or an Aston should dip their head in a bucket of water three times and only take it out twice. The Mondeo is also a brilliant looking car and so are the Aston Martins (what is the problem with a car looking like an Aston Martin anyway?). The XF however is better than all of them put together.
I sincerely hope that I have seriously annoyed the anti XF brigade.
I think the XF has done very well to scoop so many awards. It is so much more appealing than anything else on the market. I think I’ll order an SV8 model in Radiance!
I don’t want to waste £60,000 on anything else.
